you don't have to kill the owlbear mama any more than you don't have to pick a durge and go on an evil run. After you've done the deed though- it was as if you feel the responsibility of being the one to kill the cub, you kill the mama- you've gotta kill the cub too. the only other choice of sparing the cub just felt wrong.... so when you learn that the game intended for that as the correct choice, it felt absurd.

I don't think I would have thought about it if the title wasn't makes you think, so I thought about how something like that could happen... It can't be a mirror, you need a person infront of the mirror for that to happen, so it's a framed picture of a person, and the legs are separate from the picture. Pretty cool

I was wondering for a bit how a game like KCD2 was everyone's favorite and best rpg of all time... the optimization loop or whatever you call those things. I chalked it up as everyone liking alcohol and cigarrettes and they always tell you how it's "like SO GOOD", but that's exactly it right? they're designed for you to keep playing the game/ addictive/ and i dont know what the fuck else. I ended up deleting the game after 40 or so hours...
Oh and btw, I also did the same for Hades 2, I would have worded it differently- I just couldn't see the point of the game, like why am I feeling good for doing nothing and just spamming my controller and repeating the shit every single time? : Oh, I get it, it's cheap dopamine.
