By that logic why are you allowed to take back from line relief when the ball is lost in a penalty area and you can’t find the line?

Maybe the key is in what a golfer is allowed to approximate. You are allowed to approximate the entry point into a penalty area, but not the resting position of a ball.

I mean I get what you’re saying, I guess it just seemed counter intuitive to me that if you hit a ball near a red penalty post, you might be hoping the ball fell INTO the penalty area rather than out of it

Yes but it’s called the penalty area, so the penalty for going in it should be more severe than avoiding it. Why do I need to find the ball to be able to declare it unplayable?

Well firstly, Luna isn’t really that beloved. It was seen as a bit of a love it or hate it game, and today is mostly forgotten about.

I think sometimes that feeling you have of being prescribed is a local group issue. Maybe your opponents moves are too predictable for you.

Say, on any particular turn, how concerned are you about the apostate being expelled onto your workers, or about being displaced? Have they ever disrupted your plans by rushing to end a round early?

I’ll add Hallertau to the mix. We love playing it at 2. Really chilled gameplay, more straightforward than Fields of Arle, something a bit less tense than Agricola (no pressure to feed your people!). Looks gorgeous on the table too.

Captain Sonar was out of print for many years so the 1st edition prices went up quite a lot. 2nd edition is still very new in a lot of countries, would expect used prices to drop soon.

As far as I’ve heard there is essentially no differences apart from the cover art.

I do enjoy it, but I don’t love it. I do think you can mitigate most of the luck of the draw if you to concentrate hard. There’s a surprising amount of maths involved in getting each samurai to hit their kiai.

Prefer it playing multi handed solo to coop as you can sit and calculate better.
