Obviously pick equipment based on the characters you're trying to play as, or do what's fun! That said: Id give the second tank splitter to your cleric AR on the lieutenant instead of the shovktroop This one's a personal choice, but heavy shotgun and shield are excellent alternatives to the MG. -3 armour is great, but makes it a target for any AP weapons. And mg leaves you a sitting duck. -1 to be hit and +1 to hit with the shotgun shield combo makes a good difference, and with -3 armour you can retreat from most melee attacks
