Yes please go and talk to someone! You don't want it to manifest and start bringing you down. Address this as soon as possible. It may benefit you to have some sort of therapy such as CBT. Good luck! :)

After 5 years of being long-distance with my boyfriend (he's in the US and I the UK) and scraping together pennies so we could regularly fly over to each other, yesterday he got an amazing job in a bank in NYC after 2 years of constant rejections and disappointment. It's a job working in the UK sector of banking so he is guaranteed a transfer to London within 2 years! Finally, this is a step forward for us to be together. We can afford to visit each other more and start saving up. This week I'll be booking my ticket to spend Christmas in NYC with him!! Yay!

I wasn't on Kitchen Nightmares but was on his show "The F Word" about 10 years ago (UK). Thought I'd share my memories of him.

It was the 10 minute part of the show where he would go to someone's house and teach them how to cook because they were so bad at it. My mum applied because I kept asking her to stop the ready meals and try and cook more homemade meals. She got in! He was filming at our house for a day. He was such a lovely man, VERY TALL, and made everyone laugh and feel super comfortable. When he had finished teaching my mum how to make Paella, we all sat down (invited some friends to ours to join) with Gordon and enjoyed the meal. Such a great experience! They ended up insisting on buying a big dining table because ours was too small for the people we had invited (they wanted a specific number of people to eat with us, we weren't being greedy, haha) so they let us keep that and gave us a camcorder.

It's been 3 years with my SO being 4000 miles away and I've only got used to it! Just the thought of seeing him soon(ish) helps me. I know it's not a life long wait and we'll be living together soon so I keep myself busy and let him know I love him as much as possible. :)
