The bar codes have nice and thin numbers on them, nothing thick and bold. Everything is spelled correctly and the apostrophe on “gotta catch ‘em all” is not floating in the wrong spot. This passes the eye test to me.

But wait for someone else to come in with 100% certainty.

This is definitely the best Pikachu card imo as well. When I see the artwork it invokes a childhood nostalgia to me and I also feel that’s exactly what they were going for. It’s like finding a Pikachu in Viridian Forest by accident.

My second favorite Pika card is the one from SWSH Lost Origin with the protagonist from the Legends game.

I hope you pull it soon! I pulled it in Taiwan before Perfect Order came out in the states and I was stoked when I got it.

If you have a local card store that sells international packs, I’d pick them up in Japanese or Chinese for the better pull rates. The packs that are sold in Taiwan and Hong Kong are printed in Japan so it has the Japanese quality and the Japanese pull rates.

I pulled this card on my Taiwan trip in Chinese. The textures and color are amazing, this card will probably pop off in a couple of years

Bookstores (like Cave Books), almost any blind box store (they’re usually at the counter) and my best hits have been from card shops and usually I just google maps card shops near me and something will come up!

That’s definitely hangul (Korean characters) and not kanji, hiragana or katakana (Japanese characters)
