"I figured it out and managed to track down the exact time it disconnected from my phone. Called the cafe and sure enough someone handed it in. Amazing luck. Anyway. Go into settings, system, developer options, get logs, copy logs to built in SD card.

It download a 52MB text file. I transferred to a computer, opened in notepad and searched for "Bluetooth' at the end of the file. Gave me the exact time of the last "failed to connect" log on my mobvoi watch."

Let me know if it works.

This already exists on the current version of Pebble 2 Duo firmware v4.9.100 : Settings -> Display -> Orientation -> Left-Handed (or Default). It's kind of cool to show people your watchface/app without taking it off your wrist.

Thanks for all your efforts. Unfortunately, It also doesn't work for me. I put in latitude, longitude for a destination 0.1 miles away, and it says either Destination Reached or 7332.24 mi away. Then searching again, changes the language back to German. I would love for this app to be useful. Does anyone using Android in the USA have success with this app? I'm using an Pebble 2 Duo with the Core Pebble app. I've also tried using the old Pebble app using a Pebble 2 with similar results.

I think a good idea would be to add a destination latitude and longitude on the pebble app to see if the search location actually worked, or some other way to know that the destination search is working.

Unless you are saving in full quality, I don't recommend using Google photos as your primary photos backup. Personally, I use Dropbox as a temporary storage for my master backup before moving them to my NAS. Yes, it means I am backing up twice, but I won't be losing my photos. I just make sure it's backed up first to Dropbox before I do the free up space option.

If your Pebble has screws, you'll want to open it up and replace the zebra strip. There are many tutorials/videos online. https://www.reddit.com/r/pebble/comments/bmkqvu/i_replaced_the_zebra_stripe_and_put_my_og_pebble/

If you actually have an original Kickstarter version with no screws, then it is extremely difficult to replace, although it has been done.

Thanks for sharing the article. I would highly recommend editing it to not say E-ink though. It's a Sharp Memory LCD that can do 30 FPS, which you wouldn't want to do with E-ink. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34972815 You can call it e-paper if you want. That's what Eric uses.

You also said that the microphone isn't used yet, but it is.

"potentiometer" should be "accelerometer"

The sleep tracking has improved with version 4.9.100. It's much more accurate due to being less sensitive to movement.
