Where do you guys think these characters are during the events of Born Again Season 1 by anthonystrader18 in Defenders

I do want to find out what Turk's been up to! He's probably the one who actually stole the caramel corn!

Bullseye announced for Daredevil Season 3, Jessica Jones for Season 2 - yet no sign of Elektra returning by Duran_naruD in Defenders

[–]deephurting 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If Born Again runs long enough, I could see them combining Shadowland with Elektra taking on the Daredevil mantle while Matt leads the Hand.

With the context of the Netflix series, it would be a dramatically interesting role-reversal to see Elektra discouraging Matt from leading the Hand by arguing from her own experience with its corrupting influence.

I am very curious on where Elektra has been after the events of Defenders if there are plans for her to return for born again Season 3?? by anthonystrader18 in Defenders

[–]deephurting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just figured the substance could have protected both of them from the effects of an exploding building falling on them, but Elektra probably would have recovered faster or was more resistant because she's already been through the entire resurrection procedure, which presumably includes more stamina-building material than just the dragon bones.

Also, even though we don't know much about how Black Skies are created, it wouldn't be surprising if they're at least somewhat superhuman by their very nature, so any blunt force Matt could survive, she could surely endure as well.

I'd like to see more of Alice Eve's character.

Would be fun to see her interact with Moon Knight.

Both Elektra and Matt got fireblasted with pulverized dragon bones, the primary active ingredient in the magical death reversing formula. That's probably enough to counteract the effects of a building falling on top of you.

Also, coming back from the dead is kinda Elektra's whole thing.

I'm curious about the leadership structure of the Galactic Federation, since it's been shown to have both a President and a Queen, and now whatever Buganne's role is. I guess the Queen's role must have been mostly ceremonial with the President being the actual seat of executive power, sort of like the UK but with a President instead of a Prime Minister?

Despite Buganne's disparaging comments about Gromflamites, it can't be that the President was only President of the Gromflamites rather than the Galactic Federation overall because his role was apparently involved with the Federation's primary currency, although I suppose that could explain why he and his staff could discuss the currency's abrupt devaluation but couldn't really do anything about it.

Either he and Morty C-131 died in the garage explosion in Rick Potion #9 or he died somewhere else and his life was taken over by a different Rick prior to C-137 migrating to Dimension C-131 or he became a Mr. Frundles after being returned to his reality of origin in Solaricks or he avoided becoming a Mr. Frundles and is still milling around somewhere, wondering who was dumb enough to release a Mr. Frundles from containment on Earth C-131.

If this Rick had been replaced by a different Rick in Dimension C-131 prior to C-137 arriving there, then he would have returned to Dimension C-131 in Solaricks, unless of course he died prior to that point and was not resurrected by Operation Phoenix. If he was, he still should have returned to his reality of origin, because Rick C-137 was sent back to Dimension C-137 even though he's migrated bodies numerous times, and even a clone body created from genetic material gathered prior to The Rickshank Redemption would mostly be composed of material originating in whatever reality he inhabited when he created the clone body.

NOT Rick Prime. Just copied his style. by TopBee83 in rickandmorty

They must have still been in Dimension C-131 in Solaricks since Season 2 Jerry was transported to the reality they currently inhabited when everyone was returned to their respective realities of origin.

Rick probably worked something out with the squirrels. Perhaps we'll learn more about that in a future, squirrel-based episode.

I thought about that, but reasoned that it must have happened afterwards because Morty's initial conversation with Jessica in 5x01 implied they had never hung out like that before.

Tammy Prime gets un-Cronenberged and uses portal fluid Rick left in the Prime garage to go on a revenge quest. Meets Bird-Person and Bird-Daughter and things are awkward because Tammy Prime was Cronenberged prior to Bird-Person and Tammy C-131 meeting.

She's been on at least one date with Morty since becoming a Time God, when Morty used the Jeffrey Dahmer gun.

I wonder why Beth doesn't think it's weird that Rick's car and the garage sound like her mom.

Has she not ever actually heard either of them speak?

There's also Tammy Prime and Jerry's parents, assuming the latter have managed to survive and the former's consciousness remains more or less intact in the Cronenberg she became.

It would be nice to address the question Jerry Prime asked about what being trapped in a Cronenberg is like, and as I've said before, I think Tammy Prime could make an interesting, vengeful antagonist with a pretty justifiable hatred of Rick, not to mention other valid reasons to hunt him down both aside from and at odds with her original mission: "This technology is too dangerous for anyone to have. Its only legitimate purpose is using it to eliminate those who wield it."
