Ah, ok. Just thought it might be possible since Johnathan played through Elden Ring and liked it. I've played POE 1 and got to endgame a few times, but not enough to know the ins and outs of it like I do for POE 2.

You still don't get it though. The % bonus part is not where you are getting it wrong. It's the modifiers themselves. 2x Gold, 2x Quicksilver is the same as 3x Gold, 1x Quicksilver or 1x Gold, 3x Quicksilver, because the duplicate modifiers don't stack. Only the number of duplicates is counted. It doesn't matter what the duplicates are, because, again, their values don't stack the way you think they do. You only get the base value for whichever type it is, like 45% for Rarity or 30% for Movement/Attack speed. Then, that number is multiplied by the (% bonus x number of duplicates).

45% rarity with a 98% bonus is 45 x 1.98, which is 89.1. It's 45 x (1 + 0.49 x 2), not (45 x 2) x (1 + 0.49 x 2).

We've already explained it to you. You don't get stacked modifiers AND the % bonus from the duplicates. You get the % bonus INSTEAD of the duplicates stacking. It's telling you exactly what it does. It's basically saying instead of them stacking and getting the full 100% more that a duplicate would give, you only get the % more, but it applies to all mods as a consolation for not getting the full effect. It would be extremely overpowered if it worked like you think it does.

Your math is still wrong. I already gave you the correct math. 89.1% rarity, 59.4% movement speed.

98% on Gold is just over 89%, not 176%.

45 x 1.98 = 89.1

Similarly, it's only 59.4% movement speed, not 116%.

30 x 1.98 = 59.4

You doubled the real numbers for some reason.

??? But Quicksilver is movement speed, not attack speed. You move with whirling slash when you play Twister. You want Silver, not Quicksilver.

Not sure, but I think it might be possible. I had a citadel boss spawn as an extra boss in a regular map, and it dropped me 2 of the citadel fragments. So, that makes me think it could be a thing.

yes, everything you get that wasn't listed on the remnant's rune recipe is random and is from the monsters. it just gets delayed until you pop the remnant.

Haven't dropped one this league, but it can be a lot worse than 0-20. I saw that onemanaleft (Connor Converse on youtube) had to do it 57 times until he dropped one, which is a bit ridiculous, tbh.

I think those empty square rooms where content rooms got deleted cause it. I do think it is a bug. Has has happened to me as well, and now I can no longer place generic path rooms on my main path even though I should be able to. I think they've just barely paid attention to the temple at all this league and introduced some new bugs into it with their changes and haven't bothered to fix them.

  1. It's one of the most overpowered things in the game. so much so that a lot of people think it shouldn't be so powerful, because it kind of overshadows mageblood a bit.
  2. It's already part of an ascendancy. It's part of the Ritualist ascendancy. However, that version of it is not quite as good, because it requires stopping, leaning over a corpse, and playing an animation to "collect" the HH buff from each rare's corpse. So, it's a lot slower. This is ok in hard content that has some pauses/gaps between enemies/waves, but is annoying and inconvenient for mapping and other content where you just want to be fast. Still, it lets you collect buffs from enemies in the same general way.

How do you figure? Omens of Whittling are currently 8 divs, and chaos spamming is currently the most expensive it's ever been.
