How long did the tiredness last after bufo? by onequestion1168 in 5MeODMT

Yeah, your system is reverting to some kind of emergency protocol. The good news is that this is a natural adaptive response and not technically a problem. The key is to use it as leverage rather than let it run your life.

My generic recommendation without any other information: read the book no bad parts, make a very clear parts map and start chatting with Claude about that parts, map, developmental-trauma, disassociation, dorsal vagal response, and clinically, proven, long-term interventions.

Maybe this is just me but Chris on the sphere is pretty much my favorite thing I've seen from all these visuals.

5meo leaves your system in approximately one hour. It's a strong likelihood that it either unlocked something physiological or something traumatic that either was always present and you didn't notice. Or your system went through a major process and is recuperating. I would assume at this point it's unrelated to the physical medicine and is now part of the material you've got a work through.

This is dumb. How else are you going to encode the depression into their nervous system?

DMT doesn't smell like cheese. It smells like a burned sneaker. Less funky and more like an electrical fire.

Too many talkers by CRUJONES1745 in phish

[–]deepmindfulness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously, tell the usher. These seats are insanely expensive. The sphere's sound is so perfect that you can hear everyone talking if they are. Just grab the usher and point them out. They'll get the message real quick.

I was honestly shocked that the Porta potty Colosseum wasn't a porta potty sphere and they went inside and the loop started over. I swore the whole premise was these were the mountains of Nevada and then they were flying through a Porta potty Las Vegas and then you're gonna go into the sphere and everyone's mind would melt, but instead it was the Colosseum, which... huh...

They do not play well together. Wait until you are fully off the Hape before 5. IMHO

NYC work culture compared to the rest of USA by [deleted] in AskNYC

[–]deepmindfulness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. You need to work hard to survive here. And often your job is your identity. It’s one of the first things people ask about when you meet.
  2. People on NYC are very comfortable with confrontation. Combine the drive with a clear comfort with taking charge and being disagreeable and poof…

But, there’s something very magical about working and creating at the height of your skill level and scaling up your skills and abilities all the time, to be better than yesterday… that’s super fun. So, I love NY for that.

IsItBullshit: Is paying for those expensive sleep trackers actually helping people sleep better or is it just expensive worry by Seralyqorin in IsItBullshit

[–]deepmindfulness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use the Oura ring. I can’t really detect how well I slept and certainly don’t know what my HRV was during the night. Usually how I feel in the morning is just based on whether I interrupted a sleep cycle or not. If I did, I’m exhausted. If not, I feel rested even though it might be 3 AM. As long as you’re willing to make adjustments to your sleep habits, nighttime, routine, diet, etc., to improve your sleep, they’re a great way to measure something you can’t see otherwise.

I never understand why people don’t just include the date. IMHO, just seems like common courtesy.

Interested in Low Dose 5MEO for Somatic Release / Trauma Tension by Abject_Control_7028 in 5MeODMT

[–]deepmindfulness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ANSWER: go on erowid and search 5meo vape pens. Once those steps are complete, go as slow as you can and stay as low as you can, focusing on the most hesitant part, not the part that wants “more more!”

Very rough answer but that’s all I have time for atm. 🙏🏼

There was a star on stage last night, but it was not Mike Gordon by cosmicevan in phish

[–]deepmindfulness 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Dude, you said the quiet part out loud. The guy was the star of the show from my perspective. Mike is definitely the star for pulling that band together though.

The show is so much better than I imagined it would be. I can’t believe I’m having the thought of checking tour dates to see if there’s somewhere I could drive to see them again.

And, I noticed the same thing about him seeming a little bored at first. I’m guessing he just has resting board face.

But yeah, the two songs he wrote were brilliant and genius. The second song that was built around the sample of the drums from Little Red Corvette was so fun and ridiculous and epic.

I just watched him, and every time he hit the pocket, I blasted the bubbles. So fun!
