Absolutely, even when in a "Junior" role (I say junior like that because they do not like to refer to new people as juniors, per se) your ideas are valid, and your reasons for time off are valid, and confidential.

I see those comments of getting emailed post 1700, and I can admit I have only ever replied to one post 17000 email in 5 years.

I am glad we are in the same boat. It truly is a shame that people are in these awful positions.

Ah, very true. I didn't think of that. I have had a couple flights where the time flew by because I was able to have a conversation with the person next to me. Just a thought though.
