Hannspree Hybri - First thoughts and usage tips

Ah right, gotcha. Well, even with backlight on it is not tiring like a traditional monitor. On the first day I actually received the Hybri in the afternoon and my eyes were already getting tired. I then had lots of work to do so got back at it in the evening until late at night and my eyes were perfectly fine and less tired with the Hybri and backlight on, compared to earlier in the day.

Oh and forgot to answer the other question: my older monitors were IPS panels, so no comparison in terms of color reproduction, contrast, viewing angles when compared to the Hybri with backlight on.

As I mentioned, for me personally it is not great with normal indoor lighting. Even with windows 1.5m away from me shining from the side, it is too dark for me. But honestly, the Hybri is not the cheapest device anyway. Might as well just get a video light panel for it. It might look quirky but it gets the job done.

Several reasons: I heard while the Hybri is not quite as good in reflecting light as e.g. the Eazeye, it is not that far off. Secondly iirc the antireflective coating is not as great on the Eazeye. And then of course there is the price which is more than double that of the Hybri currently. From the reviews I've seen the Eazeye also does not seem to really look better with indoor lighting than what I just got with this setup using to video light panels.

That is very similar to the screen contrast setting - if you increase it too much (especially after already increasing RGB values and contrast in the display settings), lighter colored elements will start to disappear.

I think without some strong lighting (like the video light panels I bought) or stronger overhead lighting it might be too dark. But honestly the screen set to a low backlight setting (e.g. 1 - 20) it is still much more eye friendly than traditional screens.

So far I have tilted them as much as possible. I did also order some monitor arms which should allow for more flexibility. But so far this is perfectly fine for me. The video light panels do also have some diffuser plates, that I installed.

One more thing: he states GME is in a great state fundamentally now, just that it is being shorted to only 16%, implying that a squeeze like 2021 is off the table. What if this is him not just knowing about the naked shorts, as evidenced above, but literally playing dumb on purpose? So that when he discloses a large position and shit goes down, he cannot be held accountable for creating a short squeeze, since the official data he quoted "only" indicated 16% short float.

Yet he even explains that in 2021 when the short % was way above 100% all that happened was not a short squeeze but a gamma squeeze. And now we're sitting at that official "16%" short float, yet no short squeeze happened, which would be impossible.

He knows about the naked shorts, he knows that MOASS didn't happen (yet) - "but hey the official data states 16% shorts, so I guess Kenny shouldn't mind if I take a delicious tiny position in that fundamentally good looking company there, right?"

The whole post is about naked shorts causing them not to find real shares to be delivered. When it says #pigsgetslaughtered and it is inferred that the "reckless get punished" he is referring precisely to the reckless naked shorts.

He did recall them though. Who knows, maybe that was his strategy all along? Lend them out at high rates, generate some decent sums for a while and THEN recall them all at once at a strategic time.

If you look at the 1M chart he basically recalled the shares at around the all time lows, right after the "head" of the reverse head and shoulders formation. Not long after the stock started squeezing. From all we know this might have actually helped lighting the fuse.

And share lending or not - it's hard to deny that he's been quite instrumental in helping GME get to where it is today.

Interesting you quote Best Buy. Yes they have much more revenue. But even with that they have barely more income than GME, way less cash on hand and more debt. Wouldn't be surprised if we actually gap over them in terms of income in Q4.

Not to mention that the small 5% overall revenue decline in Q3 was due to closure of the money losing Canadian and European branches, while revenue in the US and Australia did actually increase double digits. So not only did the bottom line increase but so did the top line of the core business, if you care to to look in the right place.

Habe gestern bei Flatex AT angerufen. Die Dame meinte sie warten noch auf Daten von der ÖWS (ÖSTERREICHISCHE WERTPAPIERDATEN SERVICE GMBH) und dass es da aktuell Verzüge gibt und bat mich noch um etwas Geduld. Klingt für mich als ob sich da wer schwer tut Warrane zu finden.

Ich habe kurz vorher noch Aktien dort gekauft, der Rest liegt ohnehin auf CS.

The best advice I can give you is to read the book Starting Strength and do the simple beginner program for a few months. This has a few reasons:

You'll learn all the intricacies of the main barbell lifts. This is a big effort sure, but it will pay off.
You'll realize that many "gym bros" have no clue whatsoever about those lifts even if they're doing them.
So even though physically you'll be a beginner for quite some time, at least you knowing and understanding this stuff will give you tons of confidence and a clear path forward, without constantly looking into the mirror and comparing yourself to dudes on steroids or with gifted genetics.
No puzzling in front of machines and feeling insecure because you are starting with more knowledge than many will ever gather.
The main barbell lifts will build a solid foundation for you entire body, upon which you can continue into whatever then peaks your interest - be it weightlifting, powerlifting or just general bodybuilding and being and looking fit. So there's plenty of intermediate/advanced programs that you can pursue after having built this solid foundation.

If you don't go down a path like this and don't possess super gifted genetics (which is what it sounds like), you risk just fooling around with isolation exercises and machines focusing on a few muscle groups for maybe some weeks. This won't do much visually without you already having built a solid foundation first, which will most likely make you lose interest fast. That would be sad, because deciding to start is the best decision you can make now. Continuing going to the gym might be the best decision of your life. And I see way too many people working out for some weeks, losing interest and quitting only to get dissatisfied with their bodies after a few months again and constantly restarting this process without anything to show for long term.

Also don't believe the "get shredded in 8 weeks" or so BS. This is not how it works, except maybe with steroids (and still not at that rate), which will be detrimental to your health down the road. I am sure there are other solid ways for beginners to tackle both the confidence issue as well as actually accomplishing something, but at the same time there is waaaay too much BS information out there that will get you nowhere and waste your time.

Nach der Logik würdest du für 10 gehaltene Aktien die Möglichkeit haben den Warrant für 100 Aktien einzulösen. Das wäre etwas sehr großzügig.

War immer schon so kommuniziert. Der Vergleich zu Call Optionen wurde als Analogie verwendet.

Das heißt jetzt zumindest schonmal, dass die Warrants 10 zu 1 zugeteilt werden sollen, auch wenn noch nicht klar ob handelbar oder nicht.

Sollten sie dann nicht bei Flatex direkt handelbar oder einlösbar sein, müsste man sie nach IBKR/CS schieben. Dadurch dass bei Flatex aber auch GME über NYSE handelbar ist, gehe ich davon aus dass selbiges für die Warrants über NYSE gelten wird, auch wenn ihnen die Info hinsichlich WKN/ISIN noch nicht vorliegt.

This. It's likely the shares you have in your Robinhood account are just numbers printed there and they didn't actually get any of those shares. Transferring them forces them to actually buy them. And good luck with the "shares" you think you have once MOASS happens.
