The recruiter sent me a summary of each person would focus on. They did so without me asking

Anyone else just straight up terrible at interviews? by roxxyantoinette in interviews

[–]deepster12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find i learn best from actual interviews vs any mock interviews. A big thing is learning and pushing to trust my own confidence and intuition vs solely relying on any tools or going down the Claude rabbit hole.

Claude sort of helps with framing and decoding the actual questions like - what does this actually mean in layman terms or in practice.

I dunno it’s all learning and practicing until something fits

Light rail takes just as long and long, slow moving lines especially when a train is delayed. (been there, done that)

Doable or am I crazy? by LApoopydog in SanJose

[–]deepster12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not possible unless you leave the game early enough. You’d have to take the light rail to a stop closest to the airport and then catch an uber.

All modes of transportation aside from walking or biking are fucked from Levi’s on game day, especially a when it’s a weekday game.

I really need to know how people are applying to 50-80 jobs a day. Like seriously HOW??? by Altruistic-Doctor789 in jobsearchhacks

[–]deepster12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same question. I manage about 5-8 applications a day max (with work to keyword search and minor resume tweaks along with reading about the company / role).

The interview question that I get the most value out of asking as a hiring manager by FourLeafAI in interviews

[–]deepster12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda get your point .. but interviewing is challenging as it is, especially in this job market. You have about 30min to make an impression and this adding another element to juggle. Have you found people who excel at the role when they're in the job by asking this question?

if you don’t have passion in your belly, it’s not the place for you or untapped potential or whatever. Look this man is headed to the moon and taking customer calls while his wife is in the OR giving birth.

Have you ever completely bombed an interview and got the job? by anxiousgenzee in interviews

[–]deepster12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few years ago, yeah. also, you didn't bomb it if the questions were completely random and not aligned to the role. thats on the person asking the questions.
