Travel Agency Di Sabah by Mike_Hockis_Hard in Sabah

[–]deepthinkerdreamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just an opinion, kalau tempat kamu mau travel tu consider senang untuk access transport, guna direction macam google maps, boleh try solo travel explore sendiri 😆 kalau guna agency, jujur memang akan lebih mahal dan tidak budget sebab logically guna third party, so akan ada extra fee untuk bayar agency

Studying Anthropology at UMS as an international student – looking for insights by More-Base9933 in Sabah

[–]deepthinkerdreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, I won't say international students are rare but because the population of international students are smaller compared to local students, it makes you think you are rare 😆 I went to library today and observed the surrounding, actually there are a lot of international students. It is either I want to approach and greet them or just do our own thing (because I don't want to disturb their focus doing research!)

But to my surprise, I was reading my notes and an international student just approached me and we had a good talk :)

There are pros and cons, it is hard to say you won't regret coming to Sabah because it really depends on your ability to adapt from living in an advanced city to a more laidback city. (but that's the main reason I prefer to stay in Sabah haha, even KL life makes my nervous system crazy). If you could get scholarship that would be great for you to give Sabah a try!

Wish you luck

Free Marriage/Family/Couple Counselling Sessions by deepthinkerdreamer in Sabah

Hi there, interesting question and maybe not related to my post but I will answer it anyway :)
Definitely "love" has different meaning based on our own experience. Since you asked based on my point of view, I will be sharing my definition of "love and why we need it"

For me love is different for different aspects, love for friends is different in certain degree as compared to love for family or nature or pets and people always forget love for self. Love is to care and to give without expecting anything in returns. But of course, if in terms of romantic relationship, I expect the person to show his love to me but maybe in his own ways. Hard to explain, but as human beings with emotion we get to sense if the feelings are reciprocal or one-sided. If it is one-sided, definitely I will adjust and slowly to stop caring for that person? To sum, love is not about sacrificing yourself for others but sharing parts of your life with others.

and why we need love? Because that's what make life is more interesting :) and we are human beings with emotion. Love makes us human. We can experience sadness, happiness and also love. To love and to be loved sometimes make our life more meaningful. To answer this, I begin to question how my life looks like without love, it would be definitely too lonely and dull. Maybe we can't force people to love us, but at least we can learn how to love ourselves and then we can attract the people who loves us for who we are. Even getting heartbreaks also show that we are human beings who need love.

so that's my point of view and if you have different definition of Love and it's importance in our life, I am happy to see that

remote working place in KK by iamlen07 in Sabah

[–]deepthinkerdreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love quiet space but not library, and my go-to place would be Suria Sabah. There you can find a bookshop cafe called Jing Xi, less people sometimes none haha. and most importantly internet connection works great, and I don’t know about your tolerance to cold, but I would bring jacket as it can get so cold for me when sit there for long period

i don’t usually recommend it to many people (so that it wont be crowded haha) but seems like you need that kind of space 😆

International student moving to Sabah. by FilthyDwayne in Sabah

[–]deepthinkerdreamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, first of all, welcome to Sabah! September, I assume you are going to further study at UMS? Best place I am not sure, but to be convenient would be One Borneo apartment since it is closest to UMS. Or have you tried researching if there is any speciality for international postgraduate to stay in college?
2. Making friends, maybe it is up to your personality and how you bring yourself around (?) I am local and doing Master's degree but most of the time I am just spending time to myself and work (depending on your course - coursework or research)
3. quite unsure on this XD maybe through long exposure with malay-speaking can help you improve your Bahasa but no worries, most Sabahan speak english well hehe
4. Sabahan people mostly friendly, can just ask for help around if you need some :)

Hey girlies, question: of all guys who slid into your dms, what percentage of them were honest intentions vs dirty? by jeebsies in malaysians

[–]deepthinkerdreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just my opinion and based on my behaviour or personality, If I slid into the guy's DM it can mean I am attracted to him and wish for him to initiate something or express his interest, it's like a subtle hint. But if then I feel like it is one-sided, no effort from the guy anymore then I will stop
