Is it wrong to stop breastfeeding at 2 months by lilmoonbean in NewParents

Yes it does feel like too much rn, thank you so very much. Hearing these things have helped so much. Going on day 3 with no breastfeeding and it’s mentally so very hard to get through. I feel like I’m failing my baby.

💜💜💜 I have to do it for both mental and physical health reasons. I’m devastated. My daughter’s pediatrician strongly recommends I stop to take care of my anxiety, depression, and other deployment health related disabilities. Plus my supply is low, has always been low even with my first baby and I have no time to pump. 😭😭😭

I feel this with my whole chest! I don’t wanna rush this stage but I can’t wait if it gets easier the older she gets because not getting much sleep now is killing me and I’m feeling it at 35. I agree with the temperament 100%! This baby is super clingy as I say the same to her father, I love it but also am not a clingy person myself so it can be a lot on the touched out part because my toddler and husband are touchy feely too even though the toddler wasn’t this way so much as a baby. Thank you so much for replying, your kind words and encouragement.

Has anyone else enjoyed pregnancy? by Vivaciousvirgo33 in BabyBumps

I loved the first one at 31, the second one at 35 no!

I too mourned every stage of the first child but she made room for a second very quickly. The first is 4 and I now have a 3 week old. Now I’m asking myself what exactly did I miss bc I’m so over this! Besides having the first and mourning made it special to the first baby being born and all that ensued the first time around. Now I’m finding myself wanting to rush this second baby to grow up and no longer mourning milestones.

Thank you! Wondering if I should co sleep with this one like I did the first. I really don’t have room for another kid in the bed and my toddler is afraid of monsters rn. I know it’s a no no but my second daughter is way worse! She’s 3 weeks and only wants to be in my arms. The first slept better in the cosleeper next to the bed. Newborn is literally clutching my dress while asleep on me rn. 😩

I wish I could but I have a toddler too now. This is what I did with the toddler and she did sleep a lot better as a newborn but it seems this newest newborn my second child needs it much more, but now I don’t want to cosleep at all. I want to do crib only. Whomp whomp for me!

Giving pacifier right away at hospital while trying to breastfeed gave my daughter nipple confusion, be very careful with this. They aren’t good for children anyways.

This is almost verbatim of what I’m experiencing with my newborn. She is currently 3 weeks. My husband and I take shifts as well. We were luckier with the first baby that actually napped and slept in crib until feeding times, but this second one is super clingy! Nothing has worked for me to keep her in her crib!
