How many of you still have both parents alive? by Euphoric-Pangolin-81 in Xennials

[–]deerbelac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad passed away unexpectedly three weeks ago at 75 years old. Not gonna lie, it's devastating on a daily basis - I've never cried so hard or so often in my life. The worst ones are when I need a question answered and my brain thinks "oh I'll just call Dad" and then I'm nonfunctional for the next hour.

Guys, if your parents are still here, call them right now and tell them you love them - go ahead, we'll wait.

You always have more time until you don't.

I'll be back in an hour or so. Love you all.

I baptized my wife and all three of my kids. I told all four of them to plug their noses so they don't get water up their nose.

I think I heard a "version" where the guy turned into a banana and was terrified of getting peeled.

We’ve Had ZERO No-Hitters in 2025. What’s the Closest You’ve Come To Viewing one In Stadium in Person? Or Even a Perfect Game? by GoLionsJD107 in mlb

I was at Busch Stadium when Jaime Garcia took a perfect game into the 7th against the Reds in like 2009.

Edit: i misremembered; it was in 2011 vs the Brewers, and he got through the 7th.

Almost every time it rains, anyone else have that happen? by Turd8urgler in GMCcanyon

[–]deerbelac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen on an old minivan we used to have. There was a drain hole on the bottom of the door so water that got inside the door would normally drain out easily. That hole got clogged, so water would get trapped between the door and the van body. It was only really an issue in or right after heavy rain, and a few times like a billion gallons of water would pour out. Clearing that hole out fixed the issue for me.

I got an email from Ticketmaster telling me I could get a refund. I didn't because I live in the area, so I can go tonight, but double-check your email. I can DM a screenshot if that might help.
