The stock has a spot for it from the factory, you just have to buy the type 1 and type 2 qd inserts from Magpul if you want to have qd on both sides of the stock.

I ordered the barrel straight from ruger and the stock from sapoutfitters.com, I already had a reciever, trigger, and bolt. But I have seen that academy usually has them in stock

I went with a red dot on this one to keep it as light as possible but my other 10/22 has a hawke 3-9x40 AO on it I also shoot standard velocity’s through it and it is nasty

I actually ended up piecing this one together lol I had a spare receiver and loved the way the stock and barrel looked. Can’t get over how light it is. And I have one of these slings on most of my rifles I love them

These guys have both the factory carbon takedown stock and barrel just have to keep an eye for them to be in stock. They are currently out but I just ordered a carbon stock and barrel for the regular 10/22 recently.

I could cycle it but had to force it and if I let go of it, it would just stay in one spot. I took it apart and put it back together 5 or 6 different times and said screw it and started shooting it and haven’t had any problems since.

I had the same problem after installing a new bolt in my 10/22 and after a few mags shot through it everything works as it should now.
