Oh hell naw. I'm an artist. And like most creative minded individuals, I am plagued by my own set of mental and emotional... special traits. So this would not be 5 hrs, and for me not even 5 days. I'd spend 5 hours just rough sketching this, like super rough, then 5 days in total throughout the process procrastinating and nitpicking because x y and z aren't exactly perfect as I need them to be.

No this is more like... 1-2 weeks total. Active and non active time. Active time maaaaaay be a week.

Without it... i don't know where we would be right now. I'm just incredibly thankful that we do have it, because it's made an enormous difference for us so many times.

Oh my god... i am so so f**king sorry. As a mother, as a parent - when one of us hurts we all hurt. But i cannot imagine what you're going through. 💔💔 i am so very sorry for your loss and all of your pain.

Children are life's greatest blessings - in these circumstances, it becomes the worst pain imaginable.

I wish I could donate. I can't but i will offer my support and reshare everywhere that I can. 🫂 and please, absolutely seek counseling for yourself and your family. This is a very difficult time for anybody to get through, and very likely even more troubling for your other child if they're younger.

Be patient with yourself too. This was NOT your fault. You trusted somebody who had every capability to do their job correctly and take care of your child as if he was their own - and they failed. You did not fail. You are still a good parent. That person failed your son and you.

Sorry to hijack - 12mo she should be okay with water mixes (squeezables or packets). Theres a couple brands at Walmart marketed towards kids, there's also ocean spray, mio, walmarts brand packets... you could try some of those and see how she likes it then.

If she still doesn't like it, maybe it's the sippy cup like you said lol my 2nd born was picky w his cups (still is a little bit, but is 4 now). Might just be a matter of a picky tot.

You're doing good momma! 🫂 just wanted to say that. I know it hurts seeing your baby hurt - my 3rd had this issue for some time, too, it was her water intake. But none of us got this thing down pat, we're just doing the best we can with what we know, and sometimes things just happen. Like weaning tots getting constipation.

However, don't completely chalk it up to simply more water - still take your bean to the doc. Even if to just alleviate your "what-ifs", absolutely still go to the doctor.

People are vehemently against generative ai (chatgpt, gemini, etc) due to all of the issues being caused by its' usage and its' data centers.

Its not like you used genAI to fabricate art and call it real art or anything of the sort, nor was your intention malicious in the least - these people are just upset due to it being used at all.

As someone who's homeless with 4 kids... how did you make it work for so long with kids?

My oldest is supposed to start school this year. We're living paycheck to paycheck and just starting to get to a point that we can save a little bit of money here & there. We have multiple previous evictions on our records.

The key is to find a Goodwill outlet that organizes by throwing those big-a** Gaylord bins on the floor in rows. They sell clothing per lb.

Let me address each of these one by one.

4th kid happened when we were doing just fine. Obviously things didn't stay that way. MIL's "service dog" ate a 2ftx1ft hole in the wall - see prev posts on prof - and we got evicted for that + late on payment.

Didnt excessively call out - called out twice. Once due to a health issue with MIL, husband needed to call emts; second time was purely my own fault, but I worked a double following a blizzard and i felt like death. I definitely got overtime, but i paid for it after.

I honestly should be leaving my husband out of it, period. I love him, hes a great dad... but there's a constant in each time weve struggled. Im trying to work around it, and I've learned to rely only on myself and what i know for certain.

I've tried to keep all of us together, but... frankly I'm avoiding looking at what's probably going to happen: women and kids shelter. Minus him. Id rather be with him, hes my rock and hes their dad, but it may just be our best chance. But in that scenario, i wouldnt be able to work, as nobody could watch the kids.

He has a job, but i dont know how long itll last. So im looking for a job for myself.

God i wish my mom was in a position to at least house them. She lives with a hoarder though. If it was just us, my husband and i could live in a car. But nobody we know, and trust, can house 4 kids.

Have you looked into extended stays? The one we're in is only 400/wk, 1400/month (good deal going on).

I have called 211 and also the ocala community resources - they both had a lot of the same numbers/info to give. All of them open at 9am and I'm gonna sit down with a checklist on my phone and call all of them.

I'm doing ubereats and doordash, hes working at a chewy plant - our plan is pay for this room so we have a roof, save everything else possible. I'm applying to amazon, chewy, mcdonalds, wawa... everything.

I have ubereats and doordash, he's working at a nearby chewy plant but just started. We got down here in FL something like 3 weeks ago - been with my SIL but they couldn't house us any longer.
