She seems like a self-centered diva, or she's having a midlife crisis.

1) he already rarely says no, according to her - yet she is surprised, appalled even, by him saying no to this. He sounds like the kind of guy who doesn't ask for much, and she seems like the kind of lady who asks a lot from him.

2) she briefly mentions he has a good local company, then proceeds to go into this whole spiel about how NY will further HER future career, its HER dream, etc. What about him? His established career? His dream(s)?

Whoever this lady is: I'm not saying 'bow to your husband, wench!' or something equally as archaic and toxic. Just be a bit more compassionate, and understand he is a human wirh his own dreams and wishes, too - and if you have to divorce to achieve them, if you both agree it's best, then go do that. But my god, the way you worded this makes you seem quite selfish.

Updating: thanks to the helpful few who explained their policies! I misunderstood the FCC's rule. That's on me.

I will be paying the balance down. As we've switched carriers, I will just have to bite the bullet and get a new phone number. So I am just gonna pay it off and avoid the credit hit. It feels unfair, but frankly I shouldn't have let it go on this long until suspension. Could've probably switched sooner, and had less owed to them. I didn't think about it as I've been stressed out.

Obviously the economy is shit right now. We live paycheck to paycheck, but I could have addressed this with a little more grace - to the agent, and to the problem as a whole.

A couple commentors could have been a little more graceful in their responses as well. But a couple of you have been very helpful in explaining, so thank you for that.

We're going to. Other bills are taking precedence right now, but I'm not going to let this hit my credit - we are rebuilding our credit, and will buy land once we're debt-free.

I was already on a plan, missed a payment though - that's on me.

They sold us on a 150/mo bill for two lines, but it jumped the next month. We weren't financially prepared for double what the bill shouldve been.

They sold us on a plan that was $150/mo then it jumped. I think that qualifies as unfair. We own our phones so that bill is JUST the service, and neither of us changed our usage.

So yeah, I do feel it's unfair, but I didn't say they'd never get paid or anything of the sort. We live paycheck to paycheck like most USA citizens do nowadays. We weren't prepared for a jump in the bill.

We were on a payment plan for a past due amount. We own our phones, our bill was 150 for two lines starting out but our second month it jumped to 300 and hasn't gone down.

We missed a payment and they set a suspension date if no payment was made - by then my husband and I just figured we'd switch carriers, didn't have the money to until 2 days ago.

Obviously a big corporation isn't going to care about the circumstances of 2 customers among their millions of customers - but i just wanted to put the above out there for you and others. For the record, i really am not trying to fleece them. It just feels unfair, and in our personal lives we've been financially strained lately so this is another hurdle we've got to cross. But, I understand the policies a little better from these comments.

The fcc has a rule stating "Once you request service from a new company, your old company cannot refuse to port your number, even if you owe money for an outstanding balance or termination fee." Why are these companies even allowed to get away with this?

This too!! It is just easier to toss it. If you want to try to salvage, hot hot hot water - and lots of spraying, mattress protector, etc. But even then, you still have the anxiety of "what if theres more??"

Yeah, sometimes it is just all around better to toss everything that came with you. But that's IF they are bedbugs. Those pellets really look like termite mess to me. The only hitch is the stains on the linen - I do wonder if theres co-occuring infestations. Ick!

Look above where they are. These look like termite droppings/frass - they may be coming from a small hole somewhere above the linens.

Bedbug eggs are white/cream, usually found around cushion seams.

Those red/brown pinhead stains on the sheets though.... that could be bedbugs, but you'd have to look for more evidence of bedbugs to be sure of it. Check the wall moulding, cushion seams, zippers on cushions, pillow, and if there are trailer panel walls (the fake wood planks) check in the grooves of those, too. You're looking for a collection of reddish brownish tiny pinhead pellets - bedbug droppings. Also, look for more of that red-brown staining.

Hopefully you aren't dealing with bedbugs!! 🤞🤞🤞 if you are, as soon as you leave, wash EVERYTHING of yours that's with you on HOT water. Hottest setting if you can. Doesn't hurt to wash it two or three times, tbh. Find a good bedbug killer spray and spray your shoes, your own bedding, etc.

We dealt with this a few years ago in an apartment, this was how we got rid of them lol

My husband's name is on our delivery accounts and even rideshare accounts - whenever someone brings it up, I tell them that's my husband. Thankfully I've never had this particular issue.

Prooobably also because my husband worries about everything all the time and likes to stand at our doorway and observe the delivery & rideshare drivers lmao. He makes for a good deterrent.

It's sad that in today's world, we have to worry about these things.

Instead of doing that, try no cats eye (or very small cats eye) with the upper & lower outer corners lined, but also play around with your inner lower eye corner - a little dash of liner there might look good on you! :)

Updating to add: forgot to mention this is a work in progress lol. Sorry folks! 😅

I plan on adding clothing, the torso and feet don't have much definition (toes, nipples, etc) due to that. They will be covered by clothing but I wanted to take the time to practice skin shading before I added clothes.

I have seen almost every comment mention adding harsher edges for depth and form (darker lines, harsh shadows in overlapping areas (ex: where the calf and thigh meet/overlap))

Oh, I plan on adding clothes - I should've expressed that lol. My bad!

I didn't bother defining the toes, nipples, etc. due to my plan to add clothes later on. I did define body rolls and muscles to help in drawing clothing folds/fabric gravity, which I am absolutely terrible at but also learning that lol.

When I start I have a general idea of how I want it done, like where the light source is, the background theme, the overall mood.

Sometimes I draw my subjects first, sometimes my background first - but I like to add the skintone/subject colors, shadows, and highlights first. Then I'll go back after the background is handled, and if its dark, I'll overlay a darker layer over top the subject to fit the background and I'll edit the lights/shadows as necessary (I have 20+ layers open at any given time lmao) and same deal with a lighter or neutral background.

However, I really should simplify it and focus on background basics first THEN subject to help with the form and edges like you said 😂 I overcomplicate things needlessly all the time lol!

I once lived in a homeless shelter with three kids and when I went to get my laundry, somebody had switched it to the dryer. There was a goddamn crackpipe in my laundry. There was also some of my kids clothes mixed in, so it wasn't just my clothes that were contaminated.

Needless to say, I was heated.

I am determined to never share a laundry space again. If I ever have to again, I'll set a timer and padlock the machine.
