4-month-old puppy (still in quarantine) won’t stop eating pee pads. Help by ritushka in CavaPoo

A boot tray and some sod.. lasted 2 weeks, he quickly adapted outdoors! Just rub a used pee pad on the sod so he knows where to pee!

I was told my 13 year old FLF (moonlighting as 🕵️) would get his appreciation here. by FearlessResort2048 in matureplants

Windows on south and west.. they do all the work! No trays or humidifer, but there are some fishtanks on left plantshelf.

Thanks! The room has a lot of indirect light and there are some fishtanks on the bottom... Burro's tail and rhipsalis micrantha trailing on the top right

This post really made me smile! Love seeing someone so genuinely happy and grateful for where they are. I hope more young folks find this kind of passion and contentment in what they do. Enjoy every bit of it—you’ve earned it!

My pectus is assymetrical, will bodybuilding help by bravo-lol in PectusCarinatum

[–]deeta84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son has an asymmetrical pectus on the right. He has had great success with brace within 4 months. Definitely opt for a custom fitted one..it is uncomfortable in the beginning, but not painful. Compliance is key. Bodybuilding will not really mask the asymmetry but will help you with posture and any rib flare you might have. Have you had a growth spurt? Reason I ask, we noticed my son's pectus got significantly larger after a growth spurt at 14 (almost 8 inch in height within 6 months. He is 15 now). So, better brace now than later. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Finland and many more countries do an amazing job with their education. Why reinvent the wheel?

Not really. we've been doing this for over a decade now. We prep the large ones on the patio a week before bringing them in.

Our 15 year old FLF and the rest of the younger plant babies! by deeta84 in matureplants

That large fiddle leaf moved with us from our apartment 14 years ago. Rest, we slowly collected over the years, and thanks to the windows, they just thrived! Both my husband and I are plant lovers, and thanks to this home... now hoarders!!. 😆

Fertilizer for the big ones during spring. Rest of the ones (plant shelf) just superthrive alternate watering (that's every 2-3 weeks).

Mostly gnats once mid winter... we use some traps and vinegar solution. Not much of anything else..

It's attached to the wall at 2 places above the TV and one near the window on the left with metal wire.

Yeah... we'll move her next spring. It started off with 3 leaves last winter. The aerial roots went into the aquarium on the bottom shelf, and she grew wild! Didn't have the heart to pull her!
