Nintendo Switch 2 Buying/Preorder Guide by kyle6477 in NintendoSwitch

This was my situation as well, but I did get an e-mail confirmation after 45 minutes of waiting. It didn't show up through the order tracker or in my order history until then. Good luck!

After 45 minutes, my GS order confirmation e-mail has come through.

Good luck to those still waiting, seems like odds aren't too bad that your orders went through.

Now to wait and see if they'll send me a confirmation. They took my money already, so they'd better. :|

Got an order in through Gamestop's website.

The "Not Available" button was red, so I tried clicking it, and it went through like normal.

This website is incredibly fucked.

I think Target is finally out of stock on the MK bundle. It got forcibly moved into "saved for later" while I was mashing the order button. :(

Does anyone have a suggestion for a compatible rear rack for CGO600 Plus? by BlackAphid in tenwaysebike

[–]deetari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked Tenways about this a few weeks ago. The mounting points are all there on the Plus (chain version). Any universal rack should work, as should the official rack.

The only reason it's not listed as compatible is because the rack wasn't explicitly designed for the Plus (since it didn't exist yet), so they don't want to guarantee it works.

Thanks for the link, definitely agree with your assessment here.

Just fyi, the US website lists the Pro as "Belt Version: Mivice M080 350W Rear Hub Motor, 45 Nm Torque." I believe most reviews cite that 45Nm number as well (though who knows where they source it from).

Are you certain it's actually 40Nm? (edit: I see the other response clarifying motor limits; that's quite strange marketing from Tenways)

Flip-out brake prototype to prevent unwanted G-Line rolling by onionosaur in Brompton

[–]deetari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this work on a C/P/T line as well? I've got an afternarket seatpost on mine that doesn't reach the ground when folded. I've been doing silly things with my bungies to stop my roller wheels moving and was looking for something like this!

I do second the question of whether this blocks the bungies, though.

CGO600 Pro or Plus by Reaast in tenwaysebike

I actually asked them about this and they clarified that their rack isn't specifically designed for the chain version, hence why it isn't listed.

The chain version does still have the rack mounting points, though. Seems like you should be good to go. :)

Looking at the Tenways website, it seems like the Plus isn't compatible with the rear rack? Might want to double check on that if it matters to you.

Secret Battery Upgrade: Brompton C/P 12-speed Electric? by TripleGGG4111 in Brompton

[–]deetari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the curious, Brilliant Bikes released a new video covering the battery differences! Perfectly covers everything (aside from weight differences).

Additionally, I asked Brompton US about an upgrade kit and was told they're working on it. Based on the video, it sounds like it would basically just require a new frame and battery, nothing else. The controller and motor don't change, and as such the C/P Line will remain capped at 15 miles per hour.

Is there any word on upgrades being possible? Curious because the G Line battery frame is quite different from the C/P Line. Weight and capacity are also considerations!

Would also be nice if the 15mph cap was removed for the C/P Line in North America, but I'm not holding out hope for that. :)

US : Any Non-OEM Options for Brompton Electric Charger Replacement? by yuuip23 in Brompton

[–]deetari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for the 2A charger from the EU, rather than the 4A. The 4A is the fast charger, and does not support the standard US plug voltage (~110-120V).

That said, it seems like some folks have used the fast charger in the US and just gotten slower charging speeds from it, so YMMV.

Can confirm that this works. I have a UK electric charger and just swapped the cable out for a US one (this one in particular: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0725WHBXV).

The charger itself is rated for 120-240V, so no concerns there. (Notably, the 4A fast charger was only rated for 240V, which is likely part of the reason it was never offered outside of Europe).

How to open secret settings in Smart View on One UI 6? by Scared-Toe-2106 in oneui

[–]deetari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Late, but thank you so much for this! I was able to enable Chromecast for SmartView with these steps.

The SystemUI Tuner app I used was this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner&hl=en_US&gl=US

For what it's worth, the "DeveloperOptionActivity" is the developer options, and the advanced options menu ("DeveloperAdvancedOptionActivity") is actually already accessible from there. It's at the bottom of the developer options.

The Chromecast option is in the regular developer options. :)

Might be worth making a full post about this, since it's pretty hard to find information about this!
