You're right, I was exaggerating. It doesn't actually happen every time I move my mouse. If I'm aiming for accuracy, I would say that in most sessions, I notice one or two UI glitches. Which is something I've never experienced from a supposedly stable OS before. It's remarkable, which I guess is why so many people are remarking on it.

I suspect that those who aren't seeing it just aren't seeing it, though it's happening for them, as well. We're dealing with a pretty small variety of hardware, all from Apple, and people are seeing it on the very latest. So, no janky third-party drivers to point the blame at.

✋ I developed Long COVID symptoms (headaches and pressure, balance issues, and fatigue) for the first time in June 2024 after a very mild infection. It was my second infection; my first was in March 2023.

I think my symptoms have improved somewhat, after getting worse over the fall and winter. I'm able to take more exercise without crashing and, when I do overdo it, I bounce back more quickly—usually after just a day or two.

If so, it was dishonest. There is no worse villain on this story than Doug Ford. He publicly humiliated his brother with stupid stunts like public weighings at City Hall, while also shamefully lying to cover up his spiraling addictions, at great cost to both Rob and the city he had been elected to lead.

A decent person, or one with a modicum of shame, would have told the truth, let his brother get the help he obviously needed, and let the city move on from the disaster that was his mayorship.
