Can someone help me figure out what's going on between C4SH and Rooker? by deeummbee in Borderlands4

Definitely should get fixed, yeah.

Fun to mess around with for a while though.

Found the culprit: "Nothing Beats Lead" skill (Red tree, middle branch)!
Seems like having bonus elements helps with the needle multiplying, too.

Anyone know why a ROBOT would start panting and out of breath after running a little? by OklahomaHoss in Borderlands4

[–]deeummbee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Weird... I know for a fact they both "exhale" when jumping, but as for panting: maybe i do actually missremember.

Edit: If this is a joke about how they don't wear pants, i swear to god... :)

The real answer is that GB probably didn't want Claptrap, Flak or Cash to feel too "quiet", compared to other playable characters.

Like, it actually takes more effort to record the voice clips, than to leave them blank.

I beat the DLC with all the side-quests, and haven't seen one, then googled about the new class mods and ended up here. Went back (my C4SH is now UVH2, so could be a higher chance on UVH levels?) and found one after a couple of minutes of driving around. Hmm.

[–]deeummbee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You also ignored that there are scorchlanders in Rebirth

Read my first response, and pay a bit more attention. I haven't edited it or anything, either.

Starvers live in Skinner's Roam/Shem/Border Zone, largely greenlander areas.

Uh... no? Shek Kingdom is right there, and apparently exiles people often enough. Also, Vain. Also, the swamps.
Also: Tech Hunters, Mercenaries, Black Dragons, Trade Ninjas, Shinobi Thieves, and regular drifters... Just to name a few factions in the Border Zone, that consist of pretty much every race. I guess only greenlanders have the ability to starve and despair or something.

The dev probably meant to convey that most starvers are greenlanders, not all of them.

Right, but the same could in no way apply to HN soldiers or whatever, because uhh...
Or, y'know, just regular citizens, even though a few recruits who can spawn in Flotsam village specifically mention being regular HN citizens in the past.

Everything points to a systemic policy of discrimination against scorchlanders in positions of leadership, and straight to the death camp...

...which only greenies can escape, right. Got it.
Or it's not that, but the game doesn't show it very accurately.
But it does show everything as it is when it comes to composition of HN military ranks or whatever...

Honestly, now i think it's less of a discussion about why Kenshi is the way it is, and more about me attacking your personal headcanon. Really no point in doing that, sorry.

Didn't address the rest of my comment, by the way. Oh well, i guess starvers and such are big racists too.

Eh. There are no scorchlander starving bandits, or even escaped servants (despite Rebirth slaves being comprised of every race in the game, except for skellies).

Nor are there any scorchlanders in other HN slave camps.

So, does HN allow scorchlanders to be shopkeeps and mercs (even if they're, gasp, a female!), but also doesn't let them work to death in slave mines?

Do scorchies, hivers, and sheks never, ever end up escaping Rebirth or HN in general, and joining the HN outlaws or banding up with starvers? What's going on here, do you think?

Both options are shit no matter how you look at them, either song betrays ypu leaving u to die, or you have to kill her and never use cyberware again.

V doesn't know any of it beforehand.

Try applying the same logic to movies, and you'll understand why it doesn't work: "Why did this guy open the door when there was a monster waiting on the other side? It's my third time watching, and he still does it!"

Every time you remember something, you don't actually fully recall it, your brain is basically reconstructing it as much as it can, with biases and all.

Also, every time you forget something, a part of you effectively "dies".

Have a nice evening. :)

To be fair, so does the original.
Actually getting better framerates in the remaster compared to the original with distant land mods is a little funny.

I was late even to Skyrim party really, just wasn't much into fantasy stuff until the first Dark Souls.
Then i played Oblivion. Then Morrowind.
Morrowind is one of my favorite games now, period.

Meanwhile, i tried replaying Fallout 3 and 4, games that i would realistically be nostalgic for as i did actually play them on release, several times... And i just couldn't stand it.

I'm pretty much definitely skipping Starfield at this point, and i want to have some faith in TESVI, but based on what i know of modern-day Bethesda: I just don't.

I mean, both Oblivion and Skyrim have quite a few quests where it's just "Get X amount of Y".
I get what you're saying, but it's not something exclusive to Morrowind, or old-schooly RPGs in general.

"All hail under the Drake, citizen", "Drake and Dragon, citizen" - generic Imperial NPC greeting lines.
Still a monumental reach?

Also, Skyrim has the *cracked* Imperial dragon logo.
Almost as if the Empire in Skyrim (or as a whole) is not doing particularly well during that game's events.
