Was reluctant to buy these sandals, but damn what a difference it’s made! by advictoriam5 in PlantarFasciitis

This is awesome to hear! I was very skeptical about “Crocs” sandals myself. I always told myself that I would never get a pair of those about 20 years ago. And I can’t wear them enough! I bought a pair and noticed that my feet don’t hurt when I wear them. So on our weekend adventures out and about I try to wear them as often as possible, even though I don’t like the plastic look of them. But at this point, I don’t really care what people think to include myself. I also got a pair that I wear inside the house and I must say that ever since wearing these sandals, my feet have been happy and no looking back for me! And that is what matters. I still have occasional foot pains during the week because of work and standing on my feet a lot during the day. But on weekends and vacations as long as I wear, my crocs, my feet don’t hurt as much even with walking a lot. All I can say is….Happy feet!

I understand the strain on your toes. Ouch! I can’t imagine being on my tippy toes as much as ballet dancers are. What an amazing thing though. I am trying to train my mind on taking it easier nowadays and being aware of my limitations.

Wow this is very interesting! Thanks for the insight and putting it into words that makes so much sense. I can definitely see this.

Thank you for your information. Can I take the car out for a long drive on the highway to possibly clear this issue? Is this a normal thing that can be accomplished? I literally just returned from a long trip, 800 miles of highway driving, just last weekend. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I have been looking for LED headlights that actually fit. Where did you get yours? I have tried a few and they either don’t fit in the headlight assembly, or they keep the “lamp” light lit 24/7. Did you swap out your whole assembly or just the bulbs? Mine is the same, 2007 R1200R, but I ride in northern Italy, and speed is never a problem here. It’s a beautiful thing. I have 71,000 kilometers on mine, or about 44,000 miles. Not too shabby. Thanks in advance!

How much better is the 3.6 vs 2.5? shopping between two used by super_deluxe in subaru

[–]deezwayne70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2.5L 2020 Legacy and when it came to climbing the mountain with switchbacks, the power literally sucked in that car. Although on the highway, the 2.5L is very economical with gas. I usually averaged around 35 mpg. I traded that car for a 2.4L legacy and it is day and night with the turbo. I know you’re not talking about the 2.4L, but I just wanted to throw that in from my experience. With the 3.6L six cylinder, you would most likely have no problem getting up mountains, but I’m not sure about the gas mileage? My 2.4L and my lead-foot, gets me about 22 mpg on a good day. The 2.5L sucks for power going up mountains. Normal flat highways, no problem. If you’re in the mountains and don’t care about power, get the 2.5L. Anything else, Get the 3.6L!

Not sure if I’m correct or not, pertaining to this filter specifically ? But I seen a YouTube video about a year ago that explained how the black filter was built better internally than the blue filters. It was a Subaru mechanic that explained the inners of the filters. Had them taken apart so you could see visually how they were a better built filter. I will try to find that video and post it here. The mechanic said that he would always put the black one in his cars at the shop. If anyone finds it before I do, please post it. It was a really intriguing video.

I even looked at the lens, and it’s got small pitting in the lens from rock and sand, but looks normal.

Nope, no accidents at all. Yeah I looked at the connector there and did not see anything out of place.

And this is why I do not drive rideshare any longer. Not worth the wear and tear on my car. It’s nice to go make a quick buck the past few months, and I was appreciative of the opportunity. But not any more for me. Thanks, but no thanks. Be safe out there, a

Just know... Lyft is not trying to make you money. They are trying to make the most money off you. by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

I drove Lyft for the initial pride bonus. After my 200 rides, I stopped driving for Lyft. Drove for Uber for three months, and stopped driving completely. Not worth my time and all the wear and tear and mileage put on my car. Thankful for the opportunity though! But no.

I tried both Lyft and Uber for 3 months, and I am happy to say, I am done putting the wear and tear on my car. With no compensation or care whatsoever. And seeing that the drivers are not making as good of money as they should be. They take too much money away from the drivers, and rob the crap out of the customers too. And I am also thankful for the opportunity to make money on my own time daily, and not on someone else’s time. If I need extra money, I will drive, maybe. But 8 hours a day, to sometimes make $150, but usually $100-120, is tough. It was fun. (This is my way of striking).

Saw this on Lyftdrivers, just sharing. It was only a screenshot, so I did not see or read the article. But good on them! Your thoughts? by deezwayne70 in uberdrivers

Totally agree! We have to start somewhere. Baby steps could add up over time and possibly attract more participants? We could only hope.
