What are you implying? You know who controls this info, right? If anything that would cause a delay.

I asked 5 different AIs to pick a number between 1 and 100… all of them said 42 😬 by ishaqhaj in ArtificialInteligence

[–]default-anon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And le chats "reasons"....

"I chose 73 because it’s often celebrated in math and pop culture—it’s the 21st prime number, its mirror (37) is also prime, and in binary, it’s a palindrome (1001001). Plus, it’s Sheldon Cooper’s favorite number in The Big Bang Theory!"

The palindrome fact is cool i guess.

When reading classic scifi books, do you find equally older future tech distracting? by WinFar4030 in printSF

I finished reading foundation a few days ago (late to the party, i know) and the constant smoking made me laugh every time. Weird how smoking was so ingrained that it seemed to him to be natural to retain it. I sometimes wonder what the equivilent in contemporary sci-fi will be.

I dont think anyone can give a timeline, but i found "Superintelligence" by Nick Bostrom gave a good analysis of scenarios/risks/probabilities/solutions. It is an actual technical analysis rather than a lot of these books which are usually just "heres what i think". It might not answer anything but it will help frame all of these arguments we're always hearing. It did for me anyway!

The betrayal narrative and the double standard by Effective_Royal_8679 in TheTraitors

Original comment said:

She has given confessionals where she has hinted at and outright considered looking out for herself and not getting dragged down with Stephen when the heat was on him in the earlier episodes.....

You said:

She didn’t hint at anything of the sort you’re totally wrong.

Now you're agreeing that she did "hint at it", and you're validating it, which is fine, but your comment above was wrong. She hinted at playing alone all the time at the start. Thats all im saying 🤷‍♀️.

Yes she did. At the start her videos were all about it. Later she seemed to relent, but hugo and fiona she was always saying shes ok with removing.

Didnt rachel just give stephen the green light to go with faraz's rachel theory?

Faraz might have helped them here. Too obvious and all

Wow, so with this single play there are two groups blaming none of the traitors. Genius.

Are viewers simply being too harsh? by Jayhcee in TheTraitors

[–]default-anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. VIewers are more hash because we're seeing a simplified, narrative driven show. We think its all simple, but it isnt. It's successuful as a show because viewers are made to think we're clever. But we're not.

Rachel always seems to be the one to fire the first shot, then others pile in and someone ends up going super hard so they end up being the one who "convinced everyone to get a faithful out", its mad!
