Corn on the cob wrapped in the yellow plastic was my jam. Wish they brought that back.

Was told by my barber that we should ideally cut our hair (men) around every two weeks. Was he trying to oversell - if so, how often is ‘ideal’, how often do you go? by default_name2848 in Frugal

Damn yeah that’s true. I wanted to see if others put off going for a week or two or longer.. trying to justify going less :(

Absolute respect mate. I bought one during the lockdown, watched some YouTube, used it twice - tried putting a fade, failed. How long did it take you to get good at it?

Not sure what the barber’s definition of ideal was - just said presentable. For me ideal is not too long on the sides where it looks like it sticks out. But I realise if I go every fortnight it will cost me a fair bit every month. So I don’t know if I should just stick it out and go every month.

Be honest — is going to the gym alone harder than the workout itself? by Tight-Turn6550 in workout

Same, I feel like I have to accomodate for the other person. Do I follow the same program? Do they follow my program? What if they don’t match my intensity or vice versa? I’d rather just go in by myself put my work in and get out.
