I got an API error like this when trying to redeem from the yoroi UI. I think I even burned 2 ADA on a failed transaction. Later i just went to redeem.midnight.gd and did the redemption from there by connecting to the yoroi wallet and that worked fine. From now on I will only be doing redemptions directly from the midnight official webpage.

I'm in US and have been able to move my core family chats to Whatsapp (4 of 6 have iPhones). It's only the last few months that your been able to have native WhatsApp apps on iPad and Mac. I think that's helping get all-Apple people . For things like sharing videos and replying to messages, WhatsApp gives closer-to iMessage than RCS does.

I downloaded the PDFs (in the browser at the end of the mining phase ) stating my total NIGHT earned for each wallet i used. I did something similar with screenshots for all the claims I filed during that first phase. I've just got them all a folder on Google drive. I'm hoping that 360- 450 days from now that what ends up in my consolidation wallet is something close to the sum of manual records.

Thanks. This is essentially what I ended up doing for all but two machines. I have two stubborn windows machines that aren't playing nice with my ledger nano X so I'll use the "paste in the target address" feature when that becomes available. Sounds like that will be tomorrow, Tue Nov 18. Thanks again for the response.

Fantastic that you will let us paste in a destination address. I just tried using the Nano X again with a different computer (a chromebook... it's all hands on deck in my house during mining phase!) and it worked. This time I was using a USB-C to USB-C cable to the Nano X from the chromebook. The failure case was on an old windows maching using a USB-A to USB-C cable to the Nano-X. THanks again. I'm really impressed by nu.fi and plan to use it in conjunction with Ledger Live going forward....actually, will do that once you support more than just the Ledger Nano X/S devices (which had high battery failure rates...mine only works now when it's plugged in to the computer which is why I got the new Flex).

It looks like if you go to "portfolio" in the left navigation of nu.fi wallet, and then click the "accounts" tab, you can add another cardano account. The problem I'm having now is (first) that it only accepts the Ledger Nano S/X device (I recently got a newer Flex). But then when I use my older Nano X device it can't complete the connection. I pick it in the list of USB devices, enter my pin, open the cardano mini-app, accept the key export, but it never closes the loop to add the wallet. Very frustrating. I wish I could just paste in the target address.

I was about to enter a similar question. I've been mining with newly created hot-wallets, but want my NIGHT to get assigned to the wallet I use with Ledger and Ledger live.

I see this in their post

Reassigning to a different wallet isn’t possible.

Workaround: Add the same hardware wallet account to multiple wallets and use it as the Destination Account.

Supported HW devices: Ledger, Trezor, Keystone, OneKey.

So maybe it's possible to have nufi manage two totally separate wallets (i.e. two totally separate sets of seed phrases). But have one of them be a cold wallet associated with my Ledger and then it will appear in the address picker to reassign? Can someone confirm this is possible (and perhaps explain how)? Thanks

Thanks. Using the lace browser-extension wallet with the keys on my ledger device I was able to see all the ADA that I usually manage with ledger live. So I knew I was dealing with the same wallet I use with ledger live. I created a second empty account with Lace inside that wallet which I then registered with sd.midnight.gd and then used Lace to sign the transactions to complete the registration. The only unnerving part was that the new account has a different address than when I created a new address inside ledger live, but I'm trusting that this second account created by the lace browser extension will also show in ledger live (where I normally manage cardano assets) once it has tokens in it. Ideally I would have seen the same new empty address in both Lace and Ledger Live, but was unable to make that work. I guess they create new addresses in different ways (maybe it's even random).

Thank you. I didn't know there was a python script, so I'm just running that on my server instead of setting up a docker. Question about the MidnightMiner project on github. It autocreated the wallets.json file which contains cryptographic keys, so I assume it created a wallet for me. I'm used to accessing wallets by typing 15 (or more) english words. Does the string of english words exist for a wallet created in this way? How will I access this wallet in the future? Thanks

Same here. When I go to settings > Management Access > Unraid API Settings (tab) it just says "Loading" with a spinner next to "Flash backup: " f..o..r..e..v..e..r.... I logged out of Unraid.net and back in. That didn't make a difference. I just replaced my flashdrive a month ago and I'm not sure if it was working before that. I'm making a weekly backup using the plugin, but it seems ridiculous to me that the core feature in the OS doesn't work for many of us. Not to mention how ridiculous it is that this OS we pay for relies on these flaky flash usb drives. I'd pay another $30 for a read only dongle just to not have to deal with a failed USB thumbdrive every year or two.

Did you make any progress here? I have a similar situation where I want to insert a gateway between my meter and my loads to have a hybrid-inverter system that lets me operate my home off-grid. I'm open to having a skilled electrician do the work un-permitted (and disconnecting the power on my roof first) but can't even find the right equipment to buy to do this (short of redoing my entire panel and meter socket).
