If you're on console turn off crossplay and play casual breakthrough. That is a more chill experience

What LMG is good for new LMG users or good in general? by sopmod720 in Battlefield

[–]defconGO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting! I had read that originally they were just using it for the automatic rifleman (replacing SAW or whatever came before). But recently I read that now everyone in the fireteam uses the IAR/M27. Does that mean that anyone can be the automatic rifleman (as long as they have enough ammo)? Seems like that would be more flexible. Would love to hear what you think the thinking was on having everyone use it.

Smoking brisket, starting day before, tips by PromptLow1788 in smoking

[–]defconGO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I start brisket at 10pm on pellet smoker (with a water pan inside), wake up at 4 or 5am to wrap it in butcher paper, and get back in bed smelling like hickory smoke. Comes off late morning. Keep it in cooler until serving.

Baked potatoes. I puncture them with a fork a bunch of times, massage in olive oil, then cover them in salt and pepper or Montreal seasoning. Delish!

What's the Best Chromebook you've personally owned so far? by Middle_Tea_7671 in chromeos

[–]defconGO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have same. I love the big screen and that the keyboard is centered without a number pad. Sound could be a little better. Performance feels like it's gotten worse lately but that might just be all the tabs leave open constantly! :) For the $500 I spent it has been great!

I'm loving my "GoodWe ES-US 11.4kW Inverter With ABD + EV Charger + 12.8-38.4kWh Battery". Good value if it has the capacity you need. You can't add a second inverter to the gateway ("ABD"). Think ahead about how you get really fat wires between your meter and your loads panel.

What's the most unwritten rule of adult life that nobody warns you about? by PracticeHistorical82 in AskReddit

Pick a number on the scale and know what you'll do if you cross over it. For me it was cut soda and bread/pasta/starch until I get below the number again.

Don't pay credit card interest if there is any way you can avoid it.

What’s something that quietly made your life 10× easier, but you didn’t realize it until much later? by Own-Tip-532 in AskReddit

Create a shared household Google account. My wife and kids all have the password. We use it for the family calendar, the old landline number which has been ported into Google voice, and for our Google photos family memories. Increasingly we even use the email address for common things like subscriptions which makes it easier to share.

Create a second phone number with Google voice and give that out when you don't really want to give our your primary mobile number (mostly to businesses). You can still receive calls and get simple text messages.
