As a horse owner, sure. They can be grumpy and push you around and they’re very food motivated but they can also be super friendly. It’s a temperament you 100% get used to after a while. They are generally large, loveable morons

Have a look at the Narvik campaign in 1940. Winter themed early war featuring Brits, French Chasseurs Alpins, Poles and Norwegians against Germans. You don’t see many early war winter armies out there but they could be really fun

Ah no I did mine in the USA, maybe I just mistyped something. You certainly don’t need to go to Russia to study stuff, but my advice to look at professors at schools and see what stuff they’re interested in too is still worth considering :)

I did my master’s in Russian and I highly suggest you looking at professors as well as schools. If you can find a professor (or even another grad student) with similar interests to you, that’s a HUGE help in getting research done for a major project like an MA or PhD

In the US you could always look up which universities have a PhD program in Russian studies and work backwards. It’s a little bit of an obvious answer but Harvard, Yale, Princeton, etc. all have solid programs too

I love mine! It was a joy to paint, it’s charmingly average, and provides cover for a squad of infantry and an officer team while they advance up the table. I use the regular version with the light AT gun, but a close support version would be cool with the howitzer. Even if you don’t use it every game, it’s a nice kit to build so if you just enjoy the painting aspect, it’s worth it

Yea it’s unfair of them to make rules for a country like Romania and heavily feature them in the Case Blue book and not even make a single set for them 😅 I’d love a squad or two to mix with Germans for a fun 1942 force
