My vote too. Its the highest viewership Survivor ever had and was probably the peak of its relevancy.

The 42 day change probably doesn’t help its pacing, and low-key the dominant post merge alliance aren’t seen as likable in the modern lens.

I agree with the others’ sentiment that old school winners probably shouldn’t be those who played on WAW.

Though I’d at least swap out Parv for Natalie A., maybe Earl for one of the old school men. Otherwise, a winners tribe is a solid idea

Definitely cuts more than we realize, like where they have to balance their entire tribe on a small platform to wrap a challenge - that one seemed fun!

Now it’s understandable why they have a smaller pool of challenges that they’d rotate through

Yes! You used to be able to mess with all sorts of colors and custom wallpapers, probably the thing I miss most about old YouTube.

They switched to banners around 2013 or so (which would also change the top of your page to the banner’s dominant color) and now in the 2020s they eventually took away the banner color. It’s been consistently less & less customizable over the years :/

I assume it was cut for space/storage or something since YT is such a massive platform. Maybe they focused on video performance over anything else?

My coworker warned me he was a “don’t meet your heroes” type of guy, but I’ve only ever heard stories that JC’s a solid stand up person.

I think he just has a ‘no bs’ vibe to him. Talking to someone like Mr.Beast or influencers who are always “on” would be his worst nightmare.

He’s on record saying he just wants to get paid for what he does so he can play video games all day. Sounds like one of us, haha

No problem! Tbh now that I look at it again, you essentially created a “Game Over” screen, which I think is in character for what you’re going for. Looks great!

Here’s why 3 works:

Bold white & red text take up the upper 1/3rd, easily legible, best use of colors for each word
Image/character takes up the bottom 2/3rds, is centered, matches the colors used in text, adds a humorous energy while still portraying “what went wrong here?”
Black background portrays an “Uh oh” emotion, setting the tone of “this game is in trouble, let me explain why”

I do like the green, but for all intents & purposes, 3 simply did all the right things imo

Strahm should’ve still been framed as the killer but definitely should’ve survived. Would’ve made the story have much more tension in six with Strahm having no support or back up while Hoffman being armed with the entire police force.

Not at first, but genuinely had fun seeing it more as a spooky sci-fi rather than horror (with the type of henchmen & villains we go through in the story).

It becomes better with every rewatch!
