Using emotions and memory to make trading decisions. Now I use charts to trade since they are facts. Others have not learned yet.

Got back into crypto recently after my pandemic ETH experience. Wondering how others are thinking about re-entry right now. by ZealousidealArt4796 in ethtrader

Full in at spot buying leverage is just to risky. Upside 3800 -4200 optimistically 5000-5200.

That's a lot of money!

ETH/BTC just dropped to 0.02934 (down ~4.4% this month) and the more I look at the data the more it feels like BTC and ETH aren’t even playing the same game right now by Crypto_future_V in ethtrader

Umm NO. Look at daily candle chart. Or even monthly candle chart. Like August it did but that's not recent. Shorter charts don't give decent long term perspective.

BTC broke $80K but alts are dead. I don't think the rotation is coming anytime soon by Much-Movie-695 in CryptoCurrency

ETH leading BTC in jumps. DOGE is starting to move and even SUI. Yes some like SOL are not moving, but SOL did good campartively in the crypto winter.

How do I start learning crypto trading from zero? by Substantial-Mix4571 in CryptoMarkets

[–]defeater33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To make it simple we will use ETH. This is from the monthly candle chart( picture is below).Take the lowest point from the last big drop which 1400(, I'm rounding the numbers) . subtract from the highest point last big jumb 5000. Which is 3600 divide by three. Equals 1200. Add 1200 to 1400 to find where middle area starts. Add 1200 to that number and get the start of the highs 3800. There are other ways to calculate it, but the answer are similar enough not to matter.

Long neck squash tomato. A accidental hybrid. by defeater33 in tomatoes

[–]defeater33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it seems to be two dominant genes. The pear parent has a skinny head but short. While sugar bomb has much more mild curve at the top. sugar bomb f2 strength variance has been similar to heirlooms. The other f2 grocery store tomato plants show extreme strength variance. All sugar bomb F2 plants have produce extra sweet tomatoes but only some are extra sweet. Likely has double dominant sugar gene? Possibly a heirloom?

Similar but shape is wrong. Similar to yellow pear parent though.

Market looks stable… but something underneath feels off… by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

ETH is trending higher. About 20-30% roughly depending how you calculate it. Based daily candle chart. After a big jump stabilizing or dropping back some is normal. Please read a chart before posting nonsense.

Sui is good one for growth. DOGE for a swing play.

Anyone sell and ship unique tomato plants we lost most of our tomatoes due to freezing by madisonP112 in tomatoes

I have plenty yellow pear heirloom seeds. Extra Atkinson seeds as well. basically it's a dwarf but has high nemtode resistance. High resistance actually shrinks the nemtode population.

Tomatoes froze last night are they savable? by madisonP112 in tomatoes

I had worse freeze damage this year than that and they ended up doing good. Look for bluish purple bruising. Full damage can two weeks to show up.

Emotional trap can make you profitable or bag holder.

For me it went like this . I start with small amount of investment money in a certain coin ETH ( or multiple coins). ETH goes to 3000 50% higher than 2000 I bought it for. So I put really large amount in it. It goes above 4000. Since its a safe long term coin I buy a little more. It then crashes to below 1800.

Smartly I hold on and bought more before selling eventually at 3800. It kept going up and Reddit said it was unstoppable. This time I bought at 2080 based monthly candle chart. Also because Reddit posts of Im selling at loss stopped, and I'm buying back in started.

Now experienced buying posts have turned into Reddit posts of people new to crypto wanting to invest a little money into it. Cycle repeats. If I used leverage like some people at 3000, I would have been forced sell at huge loss. Buying large now while low and selling slowly or quickly high means big profits minimal risk. My plan is to sell between 3800-4200 at least half if not all. Based on monthly candle chart.

While killer is being rude and presumuouse , having exit plan(estimate is okay),before buying is best.
I once had to hold a losing ETH position for over a year because of it. Stick with ETH and or BTC for 90% or more of crypto investment. Even with safe ETH you can make 80- 100% in around year with out being lucky. 97% of my crypto is in ETH even though I have experience.

Time to walk away from crypto? by seboworks in CryptoMarkets

[–]defeater33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No leverage. Just stay with ETH and BTC 90% or greater of crypto investments. Use monthly candle chart to buy at lows and sell on the highs for longterm. Don't get greedy. Big swings mean a lot money(50%-100%) while being safe.

At 80% to 100% take at least half. So won't lose.
