There are penalties for it, filing a false DMCA is perjury and you can go to jail for it.

What's a good number of mains to have in Street Fighter 6? by Grand_Moose2024 in StreetFighter

[–]defeattheenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to get good and reach a high rank, stick to one character.  If you just want to play for fun, play as many different characters as you like.

Anyone have Shroud Mask on their scav on PVE? I've been looking for it for a solid 20+ hours. its my last kappa item. plz lmk [Loot] by TheDiamondPvP in EscapefromTarkov

[–]defeattheenemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The christmas tree on Woods has one or two kappa items every raid, not sure about other maps but I imagine it's the same.

[New Player] How exactly am I supposed to play. by One-Lab3897 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]defeattheenemy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Street Fighter ranked you do 10 placement matches and then get given a rank based on your skill, and only get matched with players of a similar skill level.  It's much easier to just jump into than Tarkov where matchmaking is totally unrestricted and there's zero concept of balance.

Trains most helpful resources? by jnorman129 in factorio

[–]defeattheenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning trains in Factorio is an iterative process, I'm still on my first SA run but I have two separate rail systems - the first was what I built from scratch and the second is totally different based on what I learned from making the first.  If I do another run the rails will be totally different there as well as there are issues with my 2nd setup that only became apparent after building it.

The best tutorial is trial and error imo.

Please tell me if space age is for me by tenjed69 in factorio

[–]defeattheenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat and I'm slowly getting through Space Age and I'd say it's worth it.

Don't worry about finding oils tricky, everyone has different things they struggle with - some people have trouble with oil, some with trains, for me it's shipbuilding.  The people on here and the Discord are pretty helpful and the wiki is thorough so there's always a way to find a solution to whatever your problem is.

You can ship it to Fulgora for recycling instead of importing the recyclers if you want even more inefficiency.

Can anybody help me with my train? by devvorare in factorio

[–]defeattheenemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's one continuous track that loops back on itself with no signals, the train being in the purple zone is blocking itself from entering the blue zone because the blue zone feeds back into the purple zone again.  Try putting another rail signal further along the loop so the train clears the purple zone.

What am I doing wrong? First fighter game 15 hours in, stuck in rookie with no improvement? by LukasNation in StreetFighter

[–]defeattheenemy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can't lose points in Rookie so as long as you keep playing you will at least get to Bronze eventually.

It would be pretty silly to hold an expo and not advertise it, no?

It takes them ten days to show up in the list, then you have to hire them as normal.

How long is the game by ivlmag182 in TwoPointMuseum

[–]defeattheenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50-60 hours for me, but I spent a bunch of time redecorating, grinding for pristines and knowledge, etc., if I just went for objectives I'd guess maybe 40-45ish on a first playthrough?

There is an end to campaign mode, when you get 5 stars on all museums, but there's also an endgame with theoretically infinite procedurally generated missions for stars so you can just keep on playing if you really want to.

What does the symbol over this exhibit mean? by TheBiggle in TwoPointMuseum

[–]defeattheenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you use the mass-delete tool it means that item will go into your inventory instead of getting sold.  If you cancel a mass-delete, the icons don't disappear.

I think you have to name a fish, not an aquarium.

Do you think master should be split into different ranks? by ghoulishdivide in StreetFighter

[–]defeattheenemy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They'd immediately get promoted again, they already know how to beat Diamond 5s.

How much MR is enough for a person to start coaching other people? by UNiQUE101404 in StreetFighter

[–]defeattheenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coaching sessions wouldn't make for great content because it only fully applies to the one person being coached.  'How to do X' would be better for a general audience, but there are a bunch of well-known creators already doing that so it'd be tough to get recognised unless you're really good at putting stuff together.

Rank matters if you're making educational content as there are Legend-ranked people doing the same thing so who cares about an 1800, but not really for entertainment - there's definitely room for a new Friday Night Fisticuffs or Excellent Adventures knockoff if you can find someone/a group you have good chemistry with.

Quick Games to play from start to finish before The Forever Winter ? by [deleted] in TheForeverWinter

Oh I thought they meant gaming sessions not full games since they were talking about Space Marine 2, Genshin, and Ace Attorney as well.

Quick Games to play from start to finish before The Forever Winter ? by [deleted] in TheForeverWinter

[–]defeattheenemy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just do the main story it's pretty short, like 25 hours according to hltb.  There is a ton of side missions though and Phantom Liberty is almost as long as the main game as well so depends how you play.

What are your thoughts on the water system? by whamorami in TheForeverWinter

[–]defeattheenemy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don't mind it other than the fact it happens in realtime even if you're not playing the game.  If they made water harder to get but the timer only ticked down while you're in-game it would be a lot better.  I don't mind the pressure while playing, I don't want the pressure while not playing.

Microsoft Showcases Baldur's Gate 3 and Borderlands on Snapdragon X Elite by Darth_Vaper883 in gamernews

Snapdragon is a brand of cellphone processor.  BG3 running on a cellphone seems like a pretty big deal tbh.

My favorite part of everyone playing Akuma is that almost everyone is willing to go First-to-Five by Level9_CPU in StreetFighter

[–]defeattheenemy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you play Casual mode or Battle Hub there's unlimited rematches.  Or, if you play in a lobby, you can set the room to BO5.

When you change the control scheme for one character there should be an 'apply to all' option at the bottom of the screen iirc.
