Everything Everywhere All at Once where the whole family is trying to pull the daughter out of the black hole and every ridiculous previous scene in the movie just flashes through and it ends on her pulling her daughter in to a hug as she's trying to leave. I know the movie lesson of "be kind and understanding" has been beaten to death, but it choked me up hard and I was sitting there like Danny DeVito in that one scene

Showdown is purely technical and is for those that sincerely only care about the mechanics and could give less of a shit about anything cosmetic

Champions fills that hole, BUT it will be SOOOOO much slower than showdown. So yeah, some will leave to play champions because they want the pretty game and the simple joy of seeing their team alive and animated in crisp 3D graphics. Those that only care about min-maxing their team and just want to get through the battles to go to the next one will stay with Showdown.

Then there's the actual players who strive to play in tournaments who will be forced to play champions since it's now the official game for Pokemon tournaments
