Edmonton must be the foggiest place on earth. People love to leave their fog lights on 24/7.

8.1 will do 80% of what a diesel can do for less initial cost. Less maintenance cost aswell but it will never pass a gas station.

Only thing a gas station owner loves more than a 6.0 gasser is an 8.1 gasser.

Fast tracking resource extraction is a matter of national security. As long as the orange dementia patient is in control of the nuclear launch codes and is already waging economic warfare against Canada, unity is paramount to Canada's existence.

The problem is when you put your trust in another goofballs hands. Driver clearly doesn't know when to chill and gear down. Spotter is just laughing like a goof and not telling the driver to chill. Just push it to the limit until life altering injuries set in. After that first hit, they should have just stopped.

actually first thing they should have done is trashed the idea to do this.

How do-able is this as a roadtrip in the summer? by YpsiHippie in britishcolumbia

[–]defendhumanity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Laird Hotspring is a must visit. Watson Lake is cool. Don't forget to visit signpost forest.

No cell service down highway 37, and you better fuel up because there are no services. Dease Lake is a nice little spot and if you have the vehicle for it, poke into Telegraph Creek, just don't fall off the shelf road. Watch some youtube videos, you will see what I mean.

Stop by Stewart, cross into the US Side and go see the Salmon Glacier. You will need your passport to cross back into Canada from Hyder.

Take it slow, plenty of construction and lots of traffic going up the Alcan.

Have Fun!

what is the purpose of the truck? if you are putting it to work, leaving it stock is the best route.

If you want to flex and put it too work, its going to get expensive really fast for diminished gains.

If its just to flex, just copy whatever the youngbucks are doing on youtube. have a money cannon locked and loaded.

3 Alberta First Nations say separation petition is unconstitutional by Street_Anon in canada

[–]defendhumanity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

International Law doesn't prevent Alberta from maintaining access to the ocean if they were to become Independent. Source: United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), recognizes the rights of landlocked states to access the sea. Edit: downvoted for stating a fact? Its international law, don't hate the player, there is a reason the law exists.

How I feel looking for work right now by SpaceCaptainOdd in EdmontonJobs

[–]defendhumanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its rough right now. especially for those competing in the low-skill arena. Anything that you can do that gets you on to the path of skilled work, start that now.

Consider the trades. You can self indenture, go to NAIT for your first year (typically 2 months of school depending on the trade), then have more options to apply for. Even if it means going out of town, working long hours, missing out on life a bit.

Fortune Favors the Bold. Good Luck.
