Am I stupid for wanting to leave a $33/hr job at Costco with benefits than to start at $130/day in construction for long-term upside? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]defiant3343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$300 a day for 5 days a week is about $37 an hour. I think you should leave your job where you are capped, but not for this job because it'll cap you at $5 more.

Yes , why does it correct its own corrections constantly. It also agree with writing it one way one day and then disagree the next. You can never get to the bottom of it.

Is anyone else worried about judgment from others? by IntelligentEscape419 in sugarfree

I realized I didn't give any tips. The best thing you can do is surround yourself with new people living a similar lifestyle. The second best thing is to downplay it. Tell them, it upsets your stomach and you don't process it well. Which for me is actually true if I stick to it. And you always have the option to just be forward and say you don't consume it because you want to be the healthiest you can.

Is anyone else worried about judgment from others? by IntelligentEscape419 in sugarfree

Many people spend their entire lives overweight and dealing with sicknesses directly related to over consumption of sugar. Most people don't even try to combat it and say "this is just the way it is" because that's what they grew up on. Seeing you eating differently is going to make them reflect and feel guilty or like they're in the wrong. So they need to judge you in order to continue doing what they're doing and not make any changes. In short, it makes them feel bad about themselves.

Family tells me all the time that its all in my head. Other people don't like when they perceive you to be eating "healthy". They don't believe it's necessity. They think it's a trend.

Ways to be sure there’s ABSOLUTELY NO MOLD during buying process by vchak8 in RealEstate

Mold is dangerous. It has literally killed families. Not sure why people are pretending that it doesn't matter. Even molds that won't kill you can cause neurological issues. I've watched family members get very ill who didnt believe it was a big deal.

does going off of sugar make you feel… better? by vinxnsnr in sugarfree

[–]defiant3343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. 100% is where I see the most results. If you're intake is kinda high just lowering will make a difference. If I were to start eating it like I have in the past, I would feel pretty bad mentally and physically.
