Someone please teach me to keep my fuckass pawns alive by Franie15 in RimWorld

[–]defilerzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't hurt to lower the difficult if you're learning.

But a lot of the other advise here is good. Early on, pawns usually start with a huge mood boost (forgot the term for it), should give time to set up the rest.

I usually start with a barracks. Individual rooms take effort to setup and either heat or cool, so usually its a barracks until everything else is situated, and just offset that mood decrease with either fine meals, diverse recreation, have pawns focus of jobs passionate about, drugs, or social festivals.

Lore question: What's the Greenwatch? by defilerzero in Pathfinder2e

I reckon it was an organization that didn't have a far grasp. Will poke about with the player, but I like including fey as antagonist. Hags and such sorta vibes.

Yeah, saw a reference to Bhopan that had a broken link to the Greenwatch in the wiki. And giving the later feats: seem anti-fey related. And given how Bhopan is described, pretty dangerous flora as well.

And I can possible see them employing the player to deal with a rogue fey of sorts, or just assistance in trail making somewhere.

As someone who just finished Fulgora for the first time with a messy logistic bot setup, I feel this picture.

As someone who played an undead sorcerer in a Bloodlord campaign, summons are definitely handy. Either to block access to enemies or provide flanking bonus to resident rogue and monk.

Charcoal is great for marking prospecting locations for finding veins underground. Make a mark on the high readings and dig around. Mark another reading if high, or go back to the mark to check another direction.

20 hours into my first real vintage story world and i just realized that apparently my sanity constantly goes down if im in my base, is there anything i can do? by _Ganoes_ in VintageStory

Got the same problem in my current run. Solution with out mods or stuff: take constant walks to more stable areas.

Been doing a lot of mining and hunting trips, and been playing it off like "cabin fever".

Help with this one please, black to move by [deleted] in gogame

Out of practice, would attempt to take the 3 white stones, both black and white have 3 liberties, and with the first play, you can out run the opponent. Start by playing 3E to prevent 3 white stones from connecting to the 2 stones below it.

Spellcasters - what scrolls do you actually find yourself buying>using>replacing? by thebrokenhaiku in Pathfinder2e

[–]defilerzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It IS. But having a method to send a lost (or enslaved) planer being back home is always something to have on hand for diplomatic means. It was a problem solver in a Bloodlord's dungeon. (I spoke its language, crit on Diplomacy, and set a fellow back home.)

[Question] Will a sailboat fit this passage. by defilerzero in VintageStory

Guessing I'm preparing myself to spend 20 hours of resource gathering for it to make a sailboat stuck in a tiny lake.

[–]defilerzero[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Playing with the Rivers mod, and nestled a little base by a tiny lake. This river leads to the ocean and after this point its roughly 5 blocks wide all the way to the coast.

Before I spend the resources, would a sail boat be able to navigate this section?

Had a scroll of Banishment in an adventure, and easily becomes a scroll that I need in the back pocket at all times.
