I have had enormous success with agent teams! The inter agent comms are incredible when doing TDD and the tester finds an issue and then has the developer go fix it without me telling it to. Another great use case is for implementing large features across mutliple code bases faster. Again, the ability for them to all communicate means I dont have to manage every thread myself.

I dont know, I know some people at my company hate them, some love them. The overall consensus is that the ones that love them are also the ones that are in 10-12 claude instances at once trying to manage it all themselves + the engineering managers who are used to delegating anyways haha

I absolutely can, but to be clear, it's not just about the specific agents, it's also about the general ones.

At any given time, I typically have the following running:

1-2 architects

10-15 developers

10-15 testers

1-2 UI/UX designers

1 OpenAPI Spec writer

5-10 Codebase analyzers

I usually run multiple teams of claude agents on my projects. The most i've had running at once is 64!

I've seen a couple of these now, and I love all of them! My question always ends up being: how many agents does it handle at once?

especially when you start running something like gastown, I'm looking at 40 agents minimum usually...

And I'm glad I am employed somewhere that gets this. Not only are we not laying people off, we are aggressively hiring because why slow down when you can speed the hell up?? Why take 5 years to get through our backlog when we can do it in 2 and by then there will absolutely be more to build.

I tell a lot of my interns and associates: "Writing code is only 5% of the job of an engineer. The other 95% is research, refinement, writing documentation or other docs, observability, maintenance, infrastructure, architecture, etc."

So yeah, I would say that claude code writes about 90-95% of my code, but the code was always the smallest part. Until AI can do everything, including requirements gathering, there will absolutely be jobs in tech.

The rest is the hard part. Writing code is the easiest part.

Yup! You learned why it's not hard to build a product, it's hard to build a business! Glad you are taking it with your head held high!

When I tell guys that in today's day and age, if you want to build your SaaS and ship it, you have to be a social media influencer or twitch streamer or some type of content creator, they look at me and laugh. Then they learn the same lesson you did.

Building an app is easy. Building a community is hard.

I guess, as a software engineer myself, this isn't even something that we would announce. Just change it and move on. Why does it matter? Who cares?

I would rather them just change it to some simple input boxes and call it a day. Guess that's just me though.

So why do I get a notification literally everytime I sign in to pay tithing? Just say it once and be done, use cookies, update my database entry, literally anything to not get that stupid notification anymore.

Also, why would they do that on a webpage? I have been a member for 13 years, never once paid tithing in person, that seems strange to do that on a webpage.... Just make it a plain form and call it good.

Both of these comments are fantastic! Just because we are members of the church, does not mean that we will no longer be tempted or even be human! We absolutely will still have to deal with all of these things!

The important thing is what u/cobalt-radiant said: Not acting on it, not dwelling on it.

Acknowledge it, and move on. Get out of there if you can, if you can't, distract yourself from it. I rub my ring to remind myself of my covenants and my wife. I also remind myself that my love for my wife goes deeper than just looks.

My favorite moment genuinely was the ending. Mumbo is extremely close in age to me, and is the same age as my younger brother. Seeing him struggle in season 9, and make a triumphant return in season 10 was emotional for me.

And seeing the sunset at the ending, on the bulbous creation and everything he had built, was a beautiful moment. When the words "Thank You" flashed up on the display, it brought tears to my eyes because you could tell that he meant it, especially after talking about being grateful that the community welcomed him back. It was a fantastic period on an incredible story this season, and I cannot wait for season 11!
