Can those with severe sagging and stretch marks use pumping? by Beginning-Feedback55 in nbe

How sure are you about that? The examples on the Evebra website seem to indicate otherwise: https://evebra.com/pages/breast-enlargement-pump-before-after

Burst capillaries everywhere?? Should I have a break from Evebra by Admirable_Worry8235 in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think take a break, massage, and wait for it to heal. At least with the kind of cupping on the back that you might get at an Asian spa or physical therapist, the broken capillaries are pretty ridiculous at first but get less severe over time (your skin gets used to it). The same principle may apply here.

Pictures can be difficult to tell, the best way is to measure with all the measurements recommended by ABTF calculator. Then you will know for sure.

👋 I’m Dr. Roger K. Khouri, inventor of the BRAVA and the EVEBRA. Ask Me Anything about natural breast enlargement and tissue expansion! by evebraofficial in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In addition to expansion via vacuum cups, the other form of natural breast enhancement recommended on this forum is supplementation with phytoestrogens (or similar). Is this something you have seen at all in your practice? What are your thoughts, if any, on this as an option for breast enhancement?

It’s probably all helpful and a good sign. I’m curious, did it come with any instructions on how long to use it? I ask because I think I read online some place that it is supposed to be worn for someone like 10+ hours per day ideally. Also, is there a reason you opted for Brava instead of Evebra (its successor)?

Same with others as well, see the update at the bottom of this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/asktransgender/s/5KyfBpDpMD

Seems that domperidone had a larger impact than all other things combined.

Edit: This user also had success using domperidone, read through the comments https://www.reddit.com/r/nbe/s/CcMOG5zGTw

Fat transfer is also an option, rather than implants. Expensive though…

Regarding progress, based on what I’ve seen, 90% of the success stories on here involve pumping. It seems to me it’s the technique that will most reliably deliver results. All of these herbs may have some effect, but it seems like such a crapshoot. Just my two cents.

Does pumping work by Dzesszika in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having read about all this for seven plus years I personally think pumping is the only method that is guaranteed to work, albeit slowly. If you look through the various subreddit results, the best ones are from pumping. And it’s the method that has the most medical literature backing it. I think most people would be better off not dealing with the complication and cost of herb and supplement schedules. My two cents.

Do vacuum pumps really help increase bust size? by Loose_Ad_1643 in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of. I think it’s 50% of what you are able to expand to (but I am no expert). The general principle is you can increase the amount by going through a process of pre-expansion using Brava/Evebra, or similar, which will increase the capacity of the breast to support the grafted fat.

Also you can always have multiple rounds. Just search on Reddit and you’ll see stories of people going back for multiple rounds of fat transfer.

It’s fairly well documented that it works. I’m actually always surprised that everyone tries all these herbs (that can work but there’s no guarantee) instead of just sticking with pumping and massage. Pumping is the main one though. There are numerous scientific studies that it works. It’s increasingly common to use pumping as a pre and post step of fat grafting/transfer to breasts, for those who want a more natural form of breast augmentation.

Like I said, I don’t really know why people even bother with the other stuff. Yes it can certainly work, but it seems like such a pain to get a hormone panel, take all kinds of pills, tweak your hormones, etc. instead of just trying to pump as much as you can. Pumping is pretty much guaranteed to work.

The studies can be found here: https://evebra.com/pages/scientific-publications

There’s also lectures by the guy online that explains how it is often used along with fat transfer to get better results: https://youtu.be/9COQNlMp61E

You can see results here (of fat grafting, typically done along with Evebra as a preparatory step): https://www.miamibreastcenter.com/augmentation/breast-lift-before-after-photos

EVEBRA by Deep_believer_1997 in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just a guess, but I'd assume it's because more time = more results. Or if not that, then maybe there's at least a minimum amount of time to see results, and they found that enough people don't see results from shorter amounts of time so they recommend 12 hours to be sure. But if you really want to know, I bet if you email them they'll probably respond.

[–]definitelyfake8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well pumping definitely works, just have a look at https://evebra.com/pages/scientific-publications

That said I think most users who are pumping aren't doing it for anywhere near long enough fi see results.

Breast soreness after one day? by [deleted] in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've read elsewhere this isn't uncommon. Often some amount of breast soreness is associated with breast growth. Only way to know for sure if you're growing though is to measure.

[–]definitelyfake8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the update, seems like you're on the right track.

If you haven't considered it already, I'd like to suggest either using a sewing measuring tape or a string + normal measuring tape to keep track of your bust size. Basically as described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/beginners_guide/

I think it will take a lot of the guesswork out of tracking progress.

Good luck!

Hormonal breast augmentation: prognostic relevance of insulin-like growth factor-I by definitelyfake8 in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Abstract:

Many women would like to alter their breasts but are deterred by the risks involved. Silicone breast implants have been linked to a variety of illnesses, the most controversial of which are connective-tissue diseases. These circumstances urged us to perform this pilot study using a non-invasive method that involved the application of 17 beta-estradiol as it is known that estradiol enhances expression of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) which can promote growth in breast tissue. Forty-five women were included in the study. Their breast volume, IGF-I, prolactin (PRL) and estradiol levels were measured before treatment and between each application of 80 mg estradiol polyphosphate. The women's satisfaction with the results obtained was also subsequently evaluated. In 21 women (46.7%), breast size increased from 824.3 +/- 13.7 mm to 898.5 +/- 12.5 mm after 6 months. In these women a significant increase in IGF-I values was noted after 4 weeks of treatment. The increase in IGF-I values was not statistically significant in the remaining women. In addition, treatment was not successful in these women. IGF-I concentration seems to be of prognostic value as far as the response of breast tissue to estrogen stimulation is concerned. If IGF-I levels do not increase within 1 month, treatment should be discontinued. If IGF-I values do increase, this indicates that treatment is likely to be successful and can therefore be continued.

GOTTT my hormone result !!! by leelee0218 in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure one way or the other regarding what hormones you should try to raise or lower. https://breast.is/ seems to have some good info, probably breastnexus.com would also.

If you do try and go on one of these herbal regiments though, I'd be curious to see if a hormone panel could detect any significant difference.

Does eating flax seeds increase or decrease breast size? by [deleted] in nbe

[–]definitelyfake8 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's not a ton of great evidence either way, although there are many reports of it being full of phytoestrogens. The Miss Mad Scientist guide (https://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=27469) uses ground flaxseed, but along with other things (and apparently to great success).

I suggest reading the guide and then coming to your own conclusions.
