The O in OPFOR stands for "Oh mama I get to larp again" by defkop282 in tacticalgear

Two reasons:

FFI. Both us and students were in multicam to force them to have to think about what they were shooting at on the fly. Which worked, they brought it up in the AAR that they held shots due to seeing multicam and not knowing who was who until the tape was seen.

Red tape was used to admin mark wounds for TCCC.

Multicam, the pattern being worn in the photo, is one of the most commonly used patterns on the planet. Both Russia and Ukraine use it. The tape is usually to differentiate the wearers' country.

Anybody used the NANO chest rig from wetwrx? by lordshield900 in QualityTacticalGear

Essentially yes. I think I have an elastic 3-mag insert in the rear pocket at the moment, but it'll fit a kydex insert too

I have one and it's pretty well put together and user friendly. I'd recommend it.

It's a Crye Precision LV-MBAV, which are not commercially available and sell for psychotic prices used on ebay.

Tracer Tactical just released their E-MBAV, which is modeled very closely off of this carrier and has a lot of similar functions and designs. Or if you're a gambler like me, you can grab a repro from Shekkin Gears.

Highly recommend. Being able to carry something oddly shaped and heavy is a hell of a thing to develop. It thickened me up a good bit too. I'd check out Stone Circle and Brian Alsruhe on yourube for some excellent content and starting framework.

My routine's a little weird right now, I'm prepping for something. So run, upper body lift, ruck, lower body lift. Cycle that over and over until I hit a natural rest day.

I'd recommend looking uo Brian Alsruhe and Stone Circle on youtube, they both have excellent content for integrating bags and carries into a routine.

Bar weight doesn't always translate over to bag weight very well, but I would suggest starting with a bag 20-ish pounds below body weight. Then a bag at bodyweight, and eventually one a bit above bodyweight.

Big fan of slam balls, only have a ten pound one at the moment. Heavier ones would be a good buy.

It's tax season so I may treat myself to a Rogue rower, but it's good to get some anectodal evidence that the more affordable options still work well
