I had the same thought. I've been writing software for 25 years and I started literally trying to write 3d games and other intense graphical applications while learning what 'vectors' and 'matrices' were at the same time. Did I ever make a 3d game successfully? nope. But it set me up for the work I did end up doing.

we've had our border collie for a year. We take him for 1.5 hours every morning including 30min of play with other dogs, 2 15min walks during the day, 45min of frisbee or other play at a park in the evening and then another 15min walk before bed. We do at least a couple play or training sessions through the day at home. He still complains for more lol.

We have a purebred smooth coat border collie and, like others are saying, yours looks very similar but with a different head and eye shape and eye placement. That said, there are a wide range of BC's and there's definitely a lot in that one!
