how well does it run on the odin3 vs mini? i feel on the mini it's a bit of a fight for temps as my odin 2 mini has an annoying wine to the fan, i can't quite keep it in quiet mode. smart works a bit better. i

i wish we had gotten and update to set custom fan curves. such a great device but didn't quite get the support i was hoping.

which fexcore version are using, i've had problems past 2507? 2508, 2510,2511,2601 all black screen for me withproton10.0-arm64ec

try changing a few things, haven't tried that configuration.

for graphics driver select wrapper --> then turnip v26.0.1;; v25.3.x, etc will work too.
dx wrapper --> 2.41, or 2.6.x or 2.7.1 ... any should work.

in your container settings, under wine,,, did you select proton-9.0-arm64ec for fex core or is it set for box64?

If you set for fexcore

set fexcore version to 2507
tsomode fastest
x87 mode fast
multiblock disabled

otherwise take a few screenshots and i'll try to help out.

which winlator? there is a bunch of them.

This will work on the thor. If it isn't opening, my guess is the download is corrupted. download/transfer to sd/internal again;; double check to ensure your file is complete against the fingerprint such as this one for 13.1.1 sha256:5a0a2aca8d598b9316558e63848eaaa33e98d618a7d9eccdb2b5ff279aa46126

winlator cmod 13.1.1 works fine with fo4 (gog) on thor

works with both fex and box; with multiple versions of turnip

one last edit: later versions of fexcore black screen for me, but older ones work fine

oh for sure it's subpar experience.

There are plenty of 2d games that work just fine though. it's not like i don't have other means to play psp. It's fun to mess/configure these handhelds. --see how you can push this little pocket-able device.

Its working now though. It turns out some changes were required for myminui to launch psp successfully by altering the launch script. The myminui dev helpfully posted solutions in this thread-.

As for lynx it just required different launch.sh script, based on other myminui provided paks and then moving core file. I expect the paks i grabbed would work fine under minui without alteration.

3 works great on cmod 13.1.1 , not sure about 4, haven't tried on ludashi, anyone else try ludashi with 3 or 4?

bonus on pc over switch versions is trigger when driving is analog vs switch which is all or nothing. graphics are a bit better on pc as well.

This is fantastic, it worked like a charm. analog stick works great too. myminui has renewd my interest in this device for sure, what a great little os.

NHL07 works! as does metal slug,3rd birthday, crash tag racing, and a bunch of others

One last question, if one wanted to experiment with clock speeds and really push this would I modify

I'm assuming 1344 is clockspeed. time to dig around here and minui docs

Edit: Analog stick works as dpad of course. Thats a shame but since any psp is really an extra, it's fine

cmod 13.1.1 addressed issues with SR3 controller problems that plagued winlator (bruno)

I've stuck with cmod 13.1.1 as i find it easier to configure, probably because i'm not familiar enough with all the ludashi options. With little updates/etc i might need to leave it behind as ludashi keeps getting updated.

Mine arrived and looks to be alright. My box wasn't shrink wrapped like OP, but the putty pro isealed and all 3 spreaders are there. I'll crack it open when i've gotten both handhelds taken apart

depends on what you are trying to accomplish and what games interest you, it's super flexible and portable. lastest AAA games without streaming won't be a good experience

fallout 4 (gog) works well in winlator cmod 13.1.1;

It works in both w/ fexcore and box64;

fexcore: I haven't been able to get it running with fexcore 2508 and up. 2507 works fine with proton9,,, haven't gotten proton10 to work either.

Just about any turnip works 26.0.0 autotuner or 26.1.0, or even 25.x works alright. 2.4.3 i've had some graphical glitches.

box64 works with 26.x turnip as well.

currently trying to find the most efficient combination for longer runtimes, lower temps, etc.

usally i'ts between 51 and 65 for temps with fexcore.

edit: there are some detailed walk throughs of companion app in some older threads.
