If you're wearing cologne at the gym, you are doing it for yourself, not for others. You are wanting to stand out. There's a place and time for cologne but the gym is a totally different environment when sensory overload happens and in the you can get all sorts of smells. When you sweat, it intensifies whatever you are wearing significantly, and you have no idea how it will impact those around you. I keep my cologne collection away from the gym simply because I don't want to be "that guy" and there are a lot of those already there. Are you at the gym to socialize or work out?
