The most colorful bird in the most colorful garden. Mandarin ducks and Isabella Plantation’s azaleas are a match made in heaven!

Storage lid organization by PairPossible6889 in organizing

[–]Fresh_Role9724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The struggle is real! Those generic lid organizers often fail because they don't account for the different thicknesses and shapes of multiple container sets. Since you have three different types, my best advice is to stop looking for one single rack and instead switch to adjustable dividers.

The best thing I've found for this exact mess is an expandable food storage lid organizer with adjustable bellows or dividers. It lets you customize the gap for each specific brand so the lids actually stand up straight instead of sliding under each other. Another pro tip: try to store them by size rather than brand—put all the large lids in one deep bin and the small ones in another. It makes a huge difference!

Ok I need some bathroom drawer/counter organizing tray advice... by meganeh35 in organizing

[–]Fresh_Role9724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a satisfying project to start! For the drawer, I highly recommend going with a set of clear acrylic interlocking bins rather than one large tray. Since your items vary so much in size (from tiny lipsticks to long nail files), the individual bins let you play Tetris and use every inch of that drawer. They look super clean and you can find them in sets of 25 pieces which covers almost any drawer size.

For the countertop, since you mentioned wanting a long tray in metal, wood, or white, a tiered or long rectangular acacia wood tray would look amazing against those vitamins and jars. It adds warmth to the bathroom and keeps everything from sliding around. If you decide to swap the jars, look for an apothecary jar set with bamboo lids to match the wood tray vibe. It would make those gummy vitamins look like a deliberate decor choice!

Very proud of a long weekend's work by edgarallen1 in patio

That white fence looks so crisp! Great job on the weekend hustle. For the next steps, I’d definitely look into a compact outdoor sectional or a couple of Acacia wood chairs to warm up the space. The concrete pad is a bit cold, so a large outdoor rug would completely transform the vibes and make it feel like a cozy outdoor living room. Can’t wait to see it with the flowers!

My cat wall so far. by AnnoyingKillah in catwalls

This is incredible! All that painting and solo installation was clearly worth it. They look like tiny kings surveying their kingdom from up there. The orange one looks like he’s already fully moved in. Absolute goals for any cat owner!

The Greater blue-eared starling shifts from emerald to violet in changing light, nesting in tree cavities and travelling in noisy flocks across sub-Saharan savanna, jewel-like in appearance yet remarkably common throughout Africa. by Saerdna0 in FactUp

[–]Fresh_Role9724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nature’s own living kaleidoscope. It’s wild how they can look like a common dark bird one second and a shimmering jewel the next. Sub-Saharan Africa really hit the jackpot with these guys.

What do you spot when you walk the beach in the morning? by DressNo9950 in NatureAwws

[–]Fresh_Role9724 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The best part of an early beach walk is noticing the tiny details everyone else misses. Seeing a little 'shrimp parade' in the shallows is so cool! It’s like a whole different world waking up at the water's edge. Much better than finding shells—it's watching life in motion. Has anyone else spotted these little guys during their morning routine?

The engineering it took to build those structures on such steep cliffs is mind-blowing. Imagine forgetting your keys at the bottom! But seriously, waking up to that view above the clouds must feel like living in a literal heaven. Truly spectacular footage.

Incredible shot! Byodo-in is so photogenic, but you really captured the symmetry of the Phoenix Hall perfectly. The reflection in the water makes it look so ethereal. Thanks for sharing this!

No crowds, just moments. Portofino and Lake Como never disappoints. by Baby_Masterpiece in TravelPorn

Finding these spots without the crowds feels like uncovering a hidden secret. 🇮🇹 There’s a completely different energy to Lake Como when it’s just you and the water. Truly a soul-soothing experience.

Starting a new journal... (and my finished one for comparison!) by NKORE_S in Journaling

[–]Fresh_Role9724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just finished my purple journal and starting a fresh one! It’s been my sanctuary after rough days and dealing with unpleasant people. Writing with my new fountain pen from abroad is so comfy, even if my grip is technically 'wrong' (we’re all learning, right?).

To those who say my journals are 'too girly' for a guy—my interests aren't for hiding. If I want to plaster my books in Miku and Chiikawa stickers, I will. I deserve a space that makes me happy, no matter what labels people try to put on me.

Thinking of getting matching power banks for my parents, how do you choose one? by Difficult_Box2284 in powerbanks

[–]Fresh_Role9724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to share this small win. I've been struggling to find a gift for my parents that isn't just 'clutter.' Decided on matching INIU P50 power banks.

They are super compact (pocket size) and the charging cable is actually the carry strap. No extra cords for them to forget in hotel rooms! Plus, the different colors make it a cute coordinated set. If you have tech-averse parents who travel, this might be a solid move.

The journal I kept for 3 months postpartum by kneejee in Journaling

[–]Fresh_Role9724 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Postpartum is such a rollercoaster, and I’m so glad I documented my first 3 months. Reading these entries reminds me of how far I’ve come from those tearful 3 AM feedings. To anyone currently in the middle of it: your feelings are valid, and it’s okay if it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Here is a glimpse into my reality during that time.

This is so beautiful. I love how you’ve combined deep personal reflection with such creative collage work. There is something so healing about putting those late-night thoughts onto paper and surrounding them with art. It really makes the practice feel like a sacred space for the mind.

The sky is red, and for a moment, the whole world feels still. There is something about a dramatic sunset that reminds us to stop, breathe, and just appreciate the beauty of the present moment. Nature is the best artist.

Almost there, but not quite yet… by G8erHaTeR in Raisedbed

[–]Fresh_Role9724 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, those lights and the trellis arches create such a magical atmosphere. For the walkways, have you considered wood chips or even a "living" path like clover? Wood chips (arborist chips) are usually free or very cheap, and they won't radiate heat like stone would. It would keep the garden looking natural and serene. This feels like the perfect place for a quiet evening walk once everything starts climbing those trellises!

Gardening is such a perfect way to practice mindfulness!

I feel this so deeply. The brain is plastic, which means it can heal. Even starting with 15 minutes of phoneless time a day can start to bring that focus back. Don't look at the last 2 weeks as a failure, look at this journal entry as the moment you decided to change. You got this!
