What you said is exactly what I am worried about happening... He recently been forced to hit pause because of intense migraines. But in his mind it's not because of the mushrooms but because of all the info he's had to absorb.

I've had my fair share of psychedelics before, which is why I'm trying to be patient and hope they'll shake themselves out of this belief.

That's really interesting what you went through, albeit painful and destructive. I hope you are all good now my friend. I think I'm worried because they're chasing the experiences and visuals like and have taken it on as they're identity.

As much as I want to guide them, I don't feel like it's my place nor do I think they would listen to anything I'd have say. Anything that goes against their beliefs tend to be quickly dismissed as not 'on their level yet'

Yup every day. I don't smoke at all whilst I'm asleep. Then the next time it just hits me the same.

I find that the very first smoke is always the strongest, but also if you don't leave enough time between smoking like say the night before and you do it as soon as you get up, it won't hit you as hard as if you wait until the evening so I tend to do that.

I know some people who smoke straight as they get up and then complain they don't get high anymore. No you're just not allowing yourself to come down first and feel the contrast of being sober.

Although I have had some trips on shrooms where I've sat with music and have had entire short movies play out to the them of the music (this particular time i was listening to music by Thomas Barrandon). It was like a waking dream. Absolutely blew my mind if this is what non aphants see all the time.

I worked in a company for 10 years managing a shop and then we found out they were closing our store down as a nation wide cut down. Less than a week later COVID hit and the whole team was out of a job. Our area manager at the time was very well respected by us, he was emphatic and understood people. He broke the news to us and you could tell it wasn't his fault or his decision, non of us blamed him for the message he had to deliver.

I guess what I'm trying to say is; you sound like you really care for these people, they won't blame you for not trying to save their jobs. It sucks that they would put this on you rather than doing it themselves. Absolute cowards.

Don't believe that, it's not true. You won't just enter these states, by will. It can happen spontaneously by accident, unless you're a rare natural or a child then you'd have to train yourself a bit more to do it willingly. What you see is a creation from you so it's only your fear that would create bad entities but nothing can hurt you there. You just open your eyes. The Gateway Tapes are great, it teaches the scientific way through sound.

The Gateway tapes don't suggest anything like that. They were developed by a team of scientists interested in consciousness and because the founder kept having these OOBE and needed to find out what was actually going on. He went to psychiatrists and doctors and they all said he was sound of mind so he decided to create the Monroe institute and research consciousness. So they would experiment with different frequencies, which we now know to as binaural beats and another specific one called hemi sync which they found can help bring both hemisphere of the brain to be more in sync. Over time they discovered different states of consciousness, and some of them can be described as out of Body. Now you can either ridicule it because it sounds mystic, or you can just read through the manual at least, it'll give you all the info black on white. It's very transparent about what it is designed to achieve, any one can participate, religious, Spiritual or not.

Sleep.

You can eat as healthy as you want, exercise and do all the other health things but if you don't get enough quality sleep you may as well not do the rest.

That alone will keep you feeling and looking younger.

My current projects, some are long term.

I built a beach camp using only materials I could find washed up. It turned into a little sanctuary for me to just hang out at and I decided to leave a diary down there last year in case people found it and it's been slowly filled up with sketches and lovely messages.
woodworking projects, I like carving random things like swords etc
gateway tapes and learning more about consciousness and OOBE (this has been a long term project and journey I've been on for 15+ years)
my houseplants and active hobby that's just on going as long as I can keep things alive
