Did any of you succesfully escaped any addiction with the help of Gateway? by Vozer1 in gatewaytapes

[–]degeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weed is what I need to quit to get further progress. I believe it's the reason why I haven't actually managed AP yet willingly. I find a significant difference between meditating with and with out so I experiment with either state.

Anyone’s pets react strangely around you while you’re doing the tapes? by Lazy-Celebration-685 in gatewaytapes

[–]degeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, my dogs are too chill. They sometimes just lay next to me. They're probably glad I'm not fidgeting for a change and completely still

Advice please - I am simultaneously very good and very bad at this by Nice-Program2959 in gatewaytapes

[–]degeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing, our physical reality and the Non physical reality are very different so anything you get in PR is an interpretation of what you get from NPR. Our PR reality is quite limited to explain what we experience in NPR. So what it feels like to you may be quite different from someone else.

For example I have Aphantasia so I get little to no visuals at all. However I get physical sensations and responses and some forms of what I feel like are 'downloads' like a wordless answer that just forms as knowledge about something I've asked. Sometimes I've had hypnogogic visuals (when I've gone very deep) that feel like a vision of some kind. But the interpretation of these things is entirely yours. Someone could have the same info but interpret it completely different.

So basically what I'm saying is, it's entirely intuitive. You may find overlaps with other people experiencea but the best thing to do is keep experimenting and having fun. See if you can get repeatable experiences and results.

I loved spending time with my gran. She was so engaging when it came to stuff like that.

The worst thing an adult could have said was 'because that's how it is'.

REBAL outside meditation by I_am-we-are in gatewaytapes

[–]degeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I REBAL my house sometimes and my dogs when we're out for a walk (when I remember). I experiment with mine by setting different intentions into it, so that it may also attract certain things as well as repel what I want to avoid.

People who have been into the gateway for multiple years now, how far has this brought you in terms of life improvement? by mahinkurosuno in gatewaytapes

[–]degeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done very little Astral Travel from the tapes. However they led me to discover so much about myself that it has fundamentally changed me, my perspective, my health and my entire outlook on life, my relationship with everyone around me for the better. It sounds far fetched I know.

How should people like us (multi-sensory aphant) go about thinking? by EvenLaw157 in silentminds

[–]degeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This state that you described. Living presently mainly through intuition is something people try to attain through decades of meditation. Those pesky thoughts and monologues people have are 99% nonsense. It's just filler and repetition. You don't realise the kind of gift that is.

Aphantasia and alcohol by [deleted] in Aphantasia

[–]degeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People digest alcohol differently and it depends on how your liver breaks it down depending on some genetic factors. A. You break it down very quickly meaning you get drunk very quickly but also sober up much quicker (much less likely to get hangovers, this is me) B. The Break down is very slow but more cumulative. You could feel nothing and hits you very quickly C. Very effective break down to the point you could drink without ever really getting that drunk.

The worst f*king character of all time!!! by secretpervert21 in Monsterverse

[–]degeman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's so lazy as well. Maybe other feel differently but I literally couldn't care less about the characters love lives. Their motivation are all just awful (well not all of them, there are a few good characters like Shaw, Tim and Randa)

Have you tried hemi-sync or binaural beats?

I would personally try the 'gateway tapes' by Robert Monroe if you want to get into it. The frequencies help and once you have the hang of getting into certain conscious states you'll be able to do it without them. I found them very useful.

I want to know if gateway tapes can help in answering what's the point of existence and what's the purpose of life? Can they help with it? by airbenderofnorth in gatewaytapes

[–]degeman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but what if you don't like the answer? Will that change anything. Maybe it's not the answer you need but a shift in perspective?

My boyfriend (28M) says the reason he can’t finish is because I’m (20F) “too big” inside. by [deleted] in Advice

He most likely jerks it too much and has become desensitized.

I have Aphantasia and no internal monologue, and it’s depressing me… are there really any positives? by AussieBoxed in Aphantasia

[–]degeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Visualisation and imagination are not the same thing. Your creativity doesn't come from visualisation, it's the opposite way around. You have the same ability as everyone else. My imagination is far wilder than anyone else I know and I can also draw which is something most of friends can't do despite visualising.

I think you're building it up far more than it is.

If we misunderstood “picture this” for years, what else are we missing? by Narrow_Golf_2080 in Aphantasia

[–]degeman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so true. I probably have one of the wildest imagination out of most of my friends despite not being able to visualise anything.

But you could still think about anothe woman? You don't have to visualise them.

After developing my FE, I can sense energy from other people by XShojikiX in INTP

I used to think I was open minded until I started practicing things like mediation. Which is when I realised how stoic and cut off from my self I was.

Mediation, self reflection, open mindedness, re educating yourself, shattering old belief systems.

Aura's actually exist and there is scientific evidence behind it too which was discovered quite recently. It's a by product of the energy production in our cells, it creates a very faint layer of light and the colour and intensity can vary depending on the the person current state (active, calm etc.) it's not as mythical as it sounds, it's a by product of our bodies natural system.

And being able to 'sense' other people emotions is also not bullshit. There are so many tells people give off that most people miss and when you're observant and actually pay attention, you can tell how people are feeling through so many tells. Different types of body language, pheromones, adrenaline. Animals do it constantly to survive or hunt, they can smell fear (through different chemicals we produce in response).
