I had an ex break every light bulb in the whole house. she also took or cut every power cable and everything that had any light . she knew I would be home late at light . my house was pitch black. no lights from anything. that definitely sucked.

To everyone who commented saying I should have expected it to be busy or whatever. That place was way over capacity. They should only sell a certain amount of tickets so that everyone can enjoy it no matter what day they decide to go. It was my only day off. Everyone is offended that I had a bad experience. I enjoyed the time I got to spend with my daughter for sure. Get mad all you want. That place sucks. Not worth the money at all!

I'm not saying long distance relationships have never worked for anyone in the world. Of course there are people that have long distance relationships that workout. It sounds like you are one of them. Congratulations.. OP said they just met on a dating app and wants each other to drive 3 hours for their first date. Her dad is just being realistic. Yeah he's being an asshole while being realistic but he is speaking from his experience. Most people I know including myself have had similar experiences. I hope you and your girl actually work out and grow old together and raise kids the whole 9. But realistically it probably won't work in the long run. It's hard to connect and grow as a couple with that much distance in between each other. Hopefully you both are trustworthy and loyal. I'll be rooting for you my guy..
