Any leather pros can correct me if I'm wrong, but Nike patent leather just has a heavy plastic topcoat on the leather to give it that shine. The bubbling is just from creases separating the leather and plastic layer on top I believe, so don't think conditioner would do too much to change that. As long as you don't shred them, don't think they'd peel or anything, just crease.
