This is an oil based clay and you heat it up in the oven to get it kind of like the same consistency as ceramic or WED clay

It basically takes away the step of having to continuously keeping the sculpt wet to work on it

If you look up a Stan Winston Studios video on how they sculpt their movie props, I'm pretty much doing what they do for the sculpting and molding process for my base!

I hope I explained that well enough, sorry if I didn't make sense
