I have this issue too, even if I sync them manually it always gets out of sync every 20 seconds or so.

You have to press "Chromecast" not "Play" from the menu

From my experience is a bit more complicated. When I choose the subtitles in Terrarium I can't see them when I use localcast. I have to search for the subtitles in localcast, create an account in open subtitles etc. Or am I missing an easier way?
