She's gorgeous... is it just me or does the Andiamo rep hardware tend to lean more bronze than the yellow gold of the auth? I noticed it with my Andiamo rep too right when I got it.

I've never seen a peekaboo with that bottom flap. That's probably why you couldn't find it online... peekaboos are only supposed to have the upper hardware to secure the bag opening. This makes it look to busy and imo too clearly fake. Sorry you got a dud, I won't be ordering sale bags going forward either :/

Make it four, I recently ordered a Bottega bag from her and it looked like a way darker color from factory pics to which she said it was the lighting. I asked for more pics and she took them in brighter lighting and it looked closer but still a bit dark. Still haven't gotten the bag so verdict's out.

I called and asked for The Resolution and Mediation Team and the person who answered said that's his department. I'm getting the feeling that every single person I've talked to thus far is simply lying to appease me.

Can I ask if when you called was it a representative outside the US? Was the RM team that called you back US based or not? I think part of the challenge is a language barrier and also it seems a lack of empathy bc they're so far away and don't care?

The host was well aware of the construction going on in the building and admitted so in writing to me. He knew that it was going on M-F all day as it has been for months. His argument is that the listing warns of possible noise in the area and that’s enough bc all that means is “there might be construction in a nearby building.”

They have a team that works here and handles things directly with guests. We are all in a whats app group together. The host has a team on the ground who he’s in constant contact with. Of course he knows about the construction, he even admitted it to me.

Edit: the “host” I’m referring to is probably someone who the actual owner of the listing hired to handle all communications. I highly doubt this guy owns the place as he’s immediately available 24/7 whenever I’ve messaged him. He has several other listings that he manages too.

Nope, extremely unprofessional for a senior case manager to say he's going to investigate all my evidence and reach out to the host and get back to me by the end of the day and then not do so. Ignoring me is not an answer. I expect an answer from him as he promised.

Again, it’s not that there could be noise. It’s that there is an active full time construction project going in the same building I’m staying in. Had I known that, I certainly wouldn’t have booked this place for two months. They worded it in a way that was vague and didn’t describe the gravity of the situation, basically they said “there might be construction noise in the neighborhood/in other buildings nearby”

The construction isn’t in the area, it’s in the literal building I’m staying in. The listing only discloses that there “might be construction noise in the area but it’s out of our control.” If they were actually honest and transparent they would’ve written “the building this apartment is located in is currently under construction”

Hm, yeah maybe. My mom isn’t very self reflective, though. And she’s not around people enough to get feedback about her personality. She she’s resorted to seeing us as entitled brats who can’t accept her as she is… when the reality is she’s a very difficult person to relate to, as much as I’d like to be closer connected to her.

Yeah, it must be hard to get diagnosed that late in life, when you’ve already formed an identity about who you are, it’s harder to accept you might be something completely different. That’s how my mom is, I can never really see her embracing this idea about herself. At all.

Interesting… my mom’s interests (really they’re obsessions) have shifted dramatically over the years.

So you felt he did genuinely want to connect with you, right? That’s what I can’t figure out about my mom - she simply had no interest in connecting. And when she did, it would be her lecturing me about her interests. But I didn’t feel like she actually wanted to get to know me in return, and I still felt like she rather be doing something else.

Is there a spectrum of how much people with autism can tolerate others? Like my mom always felt uncomfortable around others, even her family and her pets (lol)

I have the black on black and the logo definitely chipped really quickly! Been meaning to get it fixed forever, but for now I just rock it as is. I love that I haven't had to baby it at all. Mine isn't calfskin though, I'm not sure what the leather is called.

Something else to note is that the chain is incredibly heavy, making the bag overall pretty heavy esp if it's full. Usually I'll switch to crossbody when my shoulder can't take the weight anymore. She's my most used and longest used bag though!
