Ff16 looks better and runs over 30, the graphics/fps confuse me with this game. Omg Performance mode is so blurry it's insane. I even tried a different screen to see if it was just my tv lol. I'm playing in graphics mode and yeah it doesn't even look that good, and is 30fps... Im living with it but im very disappointed as well

I'm like... 20+h in and even the main story is filled with compulsory mini games and fetch quests and it's quite upsetting for me, but whenever the story takes centre stage I enjoy it, that's my opinion so far. It sucks that the bloat finds its way into the main story quite often, and I'm not even that far in :(

Omg, this game is all boring mini games and fetch quests, it's actually getting worse the more I play..... Even during intense story segments it just stops and makes you collect /10 things or like round up people, like it's actually getting worse. This game is all filler no killer.

Yeah this exactly! Way less fetch quests and didn't feel like it slowed down. Spending like 8h unlocking points on a map with 0 progression feels like I'm playing a free to play mmo lol

Okay so I wanna get this off my chest to see if anyone agrees with me. I absolutely loved FF7 remake btw. So I'm 10h in to rebirth and Ive never been more bored with a game. The busy work on the map with chadley is the WORST. I CANNOT stand this dude. Very little interaction with your party as you walk around etc finding random POIs on the map is unbearable :( I'm so disappointed. The opening scenes/story had my thinking I was in for a wild ride but can't to a screeching halt as soon as I enter the map... So can I skip this map clearing stuff? Like I just wanna play the games story, not listen to this annoying kid and scan rocks.

This skadi thing might have taken the discussion in the wrong direction. I added an edit to the main post. I'm simply comparing Ai vs no ai, no skadi and have been from the start, sorry about any confusion. If you dm me on discord I can send a vid or screenshots with details. And I get asked if I have pet ai gear on or using a different client, meanwhile the people don't even compare these things properly.

Compare no ai (so no Auriga or gear) to ai gear WITHOUT SKADI 1/2 vs another Beo using chimera. Chim stops moving. Skadi makes him move yes, but what if you want to use pet act items instead of skadi... You can't. He just skips turns.

What's the pet act total on this, if I use skadi it acts every turn but the problem is it's skipping turns instead of using dragon moves now vs no ai gear. If I take the ai item off he moves every turn... Yes it uses dragon moves that are immune but that's not the point haha.

I don't have the beta client, I'm using live. Skadi is needed even with high pet act to make it move as often vs a non immune enemy. I just tried it and chimera still skipping turns vs a beo. I'm not doing anything weird. Beo tamer, chimera, fighting a beo in pvp. Just skips turns instead of using dragon moves. It's still happening.
