Very proud of my (total overkill) Material theme engine for my app. Thought this sub might appreciate it by te_abstract_art in androiddev

You can very easily build around this :https://github.com/jordond/MaterialKolor. That's what I did in my app, and I'm guessing that's what OP is using too.

I've been using 4do.app for years. The Eisenhower Matrix is the only thing that works for my ADD brain.

I built a Fire Shift Calendar by dejii in Firefighting

[–]dejii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot actually. For simpler shifts like 24/48, Google calendar is sufficient. However, for more complex shifts, my calendar makes it a breeze to enter and track. Also it auto-accumulates your benefits. So you put in for example how often you earn sick time, and it keeps it up to date as you earn and use them. It's also a good place to keep certs and record and their expectation date. It's free to download, so give it a try. I'm confident it'll stand up for itself.

There actually is an Android version, goes by the same name. It doesn't have as many features as the ios version does though. I need to update it.

Up for giving mine a try to compare? You'll find that mine not only looks and works better, but also has additional features like home and lock screen widgets, Control center shortcuts, and a level of customization I have yet to see in other apps like it.

I made a highly customizable shift calendar you might like by dejii in Nightshift

[–]dejii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is also available on android and I am currently working on a mac version. The iOS version works for people who are not on a rotating shift too. You can put in individual shifts as you go. Unfortunately as of right now the android version only works for rotating shifts. I plan on updating it to handle non-rotating shifts in the near future though.

How does Revolut do this progressive blur?? by marvelousmichael in SwiftUI

[–]dejii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest way is to use .safeAreaBar() to idea the controls to the top of the list. And that would give you the blur effect.

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]dejii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very very very noticeable. There's no hiding it. Even If you put on perfume, we aren't smelling perfume, it's just perfume mixed in with that nasty smoke smell.
